A page is of the fixed block size. A segment is of variable size.

Hey..help me out. If logical address is 8 bit No. Of segment is 32. So d will be 3 and maximum d value will be 7. So if a segment size is 10 how the 10th address of this segment will be accessed?

@@amrenderarun Hello Amrendra, you see this last address is actually the starting address of some other segment , so as per your question if segment size is 10 then this 10 is actually used as base address or the start address in segment table so its used and also being protected by 0
