I went out for a service at the mall today, and the mall Zombies are out in full force, the smoke is so eerie, but it seems so many are just oblivious as to WHY this all is happening. I just hope our communities start paying attention & we can do better for our collective safety & future!🌎💜💚❤

Both NDP and UPC cut funding from 2019 which has led to a inefficient ability for the province to combat the wild fires. This problem was never that bad back in the day. You pay taxes. Why do you need to tolerate this type of air? Are these politicans doing their job or pocketing your tax money? Look up the history of alberta cuts to firefighting.

Emissions per person in China and India are a fraction of what we produce in North America. We use fuel extravagantly. They don't. And close to a third of their emissions are from manufacturing stuff for North America.

Yes! I agree with you, I grew up on a farm where we would have huge bonfires of whatever garbage had accumulated every few months, sometimes animals too, and it's all good. The farmers down the road from me still burn the plastic wraps from the hay bales every few days. It's the norm here still to hear with wood. The last few years have definitely shown the difference in stoutness between the rural dwellers and the city dwellers. Fires have been burning for thousands of years, they will still be burning every year that we pay these ridiculous taxes. Nothing is going to change.
