Thank you for another great VLOG & review, just realised I wasn't getting all your notifications but have corrected that now. Love your channel as a seasoned watch enthusiast & collector for half my life (23 years) and remember to always #KeepMovingForward & I will be buying of these to share with my wife as well as daughter as my collection is now a family affair.
I would have liked a White Dial but the Black and Gold is VERY good looking and growing on me the more reviews I watch about, this watch ;) The Black and Gold (to me) is a bit of a nod to the 1966 Shelby GT350 Hertz rent-a-cars :)
Thank you for this beautiful review. Love this Tudor Black Bay Chrono S&G. Some call this Newman on a budget, as it carries the design DNA of Rolex “John Player Special” Paul Newman Daytona ref 6241. Although MSRP has gone up from 1st January 2020, S&G still offers great value for money, now with 5 years international warranty from 1st Jan 2020.
I’m not feeling all the issues you have with the watch. Who ever uses the Chrono function to make the snowflake hands an issue? Gaps again not an issue. Two tone bracelet looks fantastic and two tones are coming up in fashion. Leather and strap for the track, bracelet for formal occasions.
I have both the 2-tone bracelet and strap versions. I'm also a bit bummed out that they used the snowflake hands on a chronograph. I'm not too fond of solid gold Rolex models but this combination really appeals to me.
Hi guys, quick question. I’m interesting in purchasing this watch for investment purposes (given it’s the first S&G blackbay chrono), but it comes in at the same price as many Steel sports Rolex Watches. Worth going for the Tudor or playing it safe with a Rolex? All thoughts welcome 🙂
Why not a 60 minute dial? 45??? Ok... and no 12 hour subdial... not a Daytona comp... price way lower for numerous reasons... but, it's a nice and unique piece for sure imho
Wish they had twisted the lugs a bit to bring the L2L down a bit and give it 20mm lugs. Those are 22mm lugs by the way, not 20 as advertised in this video.
Personally, I think I would like it live, I feel in lover with the Oris Chrono Diver 65 with the Bronze bezel though I got sticker shock for an off the shelf movement. But the look for me anyway......wow, this one would be about as much bling I could handle. Good review.
hi Pal I just purchased this watch as well and love it, although I like the bracelet I might consider the the rubber strap as well, was it a genuine Tudor strap and where did you source it. Cheers Paul.
Looked up their Big Block watches. Can't stand that Symmetry nor the over-sized date window. This Tudor remains the one I am very likely to buy at my AD when they reopen!
P01, and this was such a disappointment. Bezel and dial way too busy with gold, black, steel and a bit of red text are just too much. It's a good review but I just don't like it. Sorry Tudor. Make the new Tudor Sub. Instead
@@kevjmu ... In other words manufactured by an obscure Shenzhen Clock & Watch Company (for example) to mimic a brand that has no authenticity. The tagline 'Time instruments from the cockpit to the wrist' is a joke which is commensurable with this hideous Tudor. Tudor has noble heritage and they manufacture this monstrosity in steel and gold! Tudor can do better.
Don't like this model but no one rips off more than B&R .they ripped off BR01 from a Japanese brand then now ripping off Nautilus. Only decent models.are the original Sinn models..
Actually you are a good presenter! Easy, smooth and honest.
I like it. No hype so the prices will dip in a few years 👍🏻👍🏻
This watch is a great value when you look at the movement and materials

Thanks!
Excellent video, thanks for that. I get this Chrono last week and it works great on my wrist. Tudor knows how to design icons.
The best review I have seen on this one. Well done!
Great solid review, thank you. really love the look of this two-tone chrono and whats inside. well done Tudor.
Zach, I listen to you. Thanks for this review. I am not a two-tone lover, but this is something nice, it’s lovely. I’ll take it on a leather strap.

Thanks for a great an honest review. Two-tone is not my thing but enjoyed it. Tudor really rocks!
Always watch worn and wound videos and Zach is an excellent presenter
Tried it at a dealer, looks amazing in real life. Certainly my next.... sorry steel BB Chrono but you have to go.

Excellent review. This (newer) format works really well.
How cool would this watch have been if the hands were partially skeletonised, like on the SMP300.
Great review, have this watch ordered.
Don't understand the hate for this. There only problem is the unnecessarily long lug to lug
Love the channel! Hoping you guys continue to grow and mature. Cheers to the next ten years!!!! Rooting for W&W
The 45-min chrono takes some adjustment to get used to if you are familiar with 12-hr valjoux 7750 chrronos. I like my steel version regardless.
I have both the 2-tone bracelet and strap versions. I'm also a bit bummed out that they used the snowflake hands on a chronograph. I'm not too fond of solid gold Rolex models but this combination really appeals to me.
Great watch, but I like the white dial better, but I like this one too!

I think you should play it safe with a Rolex
For my small wrist the BB58 is perfect. This pudding has been over egged and prefer my CWC pilot. Good review
Now that's a good looking watch... perfect
The gap between the case and pushers is just like the one on the Daytona, pretty normal and Rolex like
Fantastic Chrono! Great review.
Great review. Loving your videos
Amazing reviews. Thanks
Improved review delivery

I swapped out the 2 tone bracelet with a rubber strap and I love it.
hi Pal

Cheers Paul.
Very true, that hour hand blocks the chrono
Nice color combo. I would definitely buy one
20mm?? It's 22mm actually!
Looked up their Big Block watches. Can't stand that Symmetry nor the over-sized date window. This Tudor remains the one I am very likely to buy at my AD when they reopen!
That flaw on the 3 o clock sub dial above "45" is concerning...
Have a steel blackfaced Daytona prefer Black Bay Chrono S&G easier to read.
Are the sub dials gold or merely coloured gold?
Beautiful time piece 💪
Excellent very thorough coverage of this handsome Tuder Chrono. Just curious watched this vid twice an still missed if you showed the case-back.
very honest review... thanks...
Personally prefer the Rolex submariner 2tone black! 🎉
Great looking watch
And now they have it in full black PVD.... The dark edition.
Why cant they just stay with the full steel version and play a bit witn the dial...
This watch is so cool on a strap, but on the bracelet it just goes over the top for me and loses it's appeal.
Nice review.
Are the pushers and bezel Solid or plated gold?
Capped and wrapped ... it’ll last forever
The bezel and pushers are solid as the center links between the lugs. The center links on the band are gold wrapped. Just bought this and love it.
Would have been great with pencil hands, a 12 hour rotating bezel and a leather strap
P01, and this was such a disappointment. Bezel and dial way too busy with gold, black, steel and a bit of red text are just too much. It's a good review but I just don't like it. Sorry Tudor. Make the new Tudor Sub. Instead
If they (Tudor) do a clasp in S&G I buy. This looks just cheapn out.
Those sub dials though
Still cant stand the snowflake hands...works on a Tudor Sub but anything else its just aesthetically polarising
🔥🔥🔥😍🔥🔥🔥
This model sucks. It's like a tasteless Chinese Bell & Ross knockoff.
Bell and Ross and Chinese knock off please explain? I am not two tone fan but if this watch had a panda 🐼 dial it would be a hit.

Really
Its disappointing but every time I try on a Tudor they just look fugly.
