I’ve been saying it for years now about the waterspot remover but yeah the turtle wax anniversary wax was so underwhelming when I used it, super glossy but no durability. I bought the whole line when it dropped only thing I find the anniversary wax is good for us gloss for a little while.
I don’t have hard water in my parts, so after 6 months there really wasn’t any discernible uplift on the hood. I did notice the car was a bit smoother on the other panels that have been intentionally neglected though. If you haven’t tried the one in the video I recommend it, great product!.
@@sheepstardetail I’ll have to add it to my list, I’ve got so many waxes as it stands, still got almost a full can of Fusso, the Koch Chemie hand wax, a few other lesser named waxes as well. But yeah I’m down to try it.
@@sheepstardetail oh yeah I just don’t use it as a water spot remover I use it to deep clean mineral deposit with my washes. I feel you about the waxes.
@@AmirAbdullah this one is a combo mineral and water spot remover. I bought it specifically because it covered both. Not sure if you can get it but the company is owned by the same one that owns labocosmetica.
looks very good and confirms what I always thought! With durable products a regular maintenance schedule is needed and acidic decor is important. I have ordered the new Purifica to use in the bucket every now and then Also whoop whoop for new Sonax tests! Always here for Sonax tests!
Overall I don’t think it made much of a difference, like I said 5% uplift, but that is to be expected where I live, super soft water. Definitely something to keep in your toolkit as it will help coatings and possibly lower sections of the car. I plan on doing a decon video on the 2 coatings going right now on the van, but more time needs to pass for the contamination to build up. I’ll be picking up the sonax ceramic detailer tomorrow!
Ultra slick is the ultimate topper. It’s okay on its own, I get about a month out of it, but is so amazing to use, makes the car look great, and does not negatively affect the beading of a coating or PNS. I use it basically after every wash after I dried because doing the whole car takes like 2 minutes with it, one of the few products you actually can spray on paint and just buff off in no time. It’s sacrificing durability for being nice in any other category, making it the perfect topper @@sheepstardetail
I have seen fresh PNS straight reject Ultra slick. It might need a week of wear and tear to be broken down enough to accept the topping - that's down to PNS tho and not ultra slick and apart from not doing much it won't harm it. With CSC it's different, that works instantly. I also found that an application of ultra slick removes any high spots/not perfectly wiped off CSC, would be fun to see if you can confirm that on a more interesting (black) paint where you see far more@@sheepstardetail
Yeah, I got the same results out of the TW. I got like 1 month and a half out of it. Super disappointed as Bilt Hamber Double Speed wax was half the price, looked better for 4 months. It was more work than the BH, as the removal was grippy. I was underwhelmed given it was the 75th anniversary product. :(

I’m referring to the water spot remover. Don’t get me started on too many waxes haha!

@@peterplumsklo5365 I was planning on comparing PNS and the spray coating, topped and not. How much time do you need between application and topping?
