@@progeduardo If you know who Greg Puciato is than you should know that he defined an entire subgenre of metal with The Dillinger Escape Plan. Him now making fantastic music outside of metal as well is exactly what makes him the most talented man in metal right now in my opinion.

Greg, in my opinion is an absolute musical prodigy! Everything this guy writes is gold. And as he evolves you can see feel and hear the influences and inspiration he's incorporating along the way. It blew my mind to see him go from Dillinger to Jerry Cantrell who is a total musical gift and icon in his own rite. Now to see him collaborate with a key player in innovative modern metal.. Reba Meyers of code orange (another favorite) just shows me more of the genius musical chameleon Greg is. Love the track. It's beautiful, dark, catchy. As the years have gone on it's just evident she is the out and out talent of CO. Jami is bringing that band into the dirt and she needs to speak up and save it.
Nah I'm not having that. She's led vocals on what, a handful of tracks? That's a massive overreaction. Their heaviest stuff is what pushes the boundaries, and it generally doesn't have Reba singing on it. She's objectively a better singer, but the reason Code Orange are so successful is precisely because they have so many different textures and can span so many genres so effortlessly. The title track from Forever and Swallowing the Rabbit Whole are just as big a part of their success as stuff like Bleeding in the Blur and Underneath. Probably even more so considering their background and how interesting the music is in those examples. I get it, the whole Powerman ripoff with Jami front and center was absolute dogshit and I hope they never go anywhere near that again. But it doesn't invalidate what they've done before with him as the lead vocalist.
Some of my favorite Code Orange tracks are the Reba ones, and this just proves that she can basically do anything and I'd be into it. If she did a solo album I'd be into it, no doubt

Like how you make me feel so lowered

And it makes us feel alive but I just can't win
You're tired, you're tirеd of going nowhere far
I have to brеak the string you're on, it's inevitable

It's in our blood to need to have control (To have control)
It's in our blood to feed
It's in our blood to dream
