As a long time gamer, the moment when I step down in Phatt Island pier was absolutely memorable. I would just walk around the pier listening to the amazing music while imaginaging if there was a similar real location out there. Thanks for this. Played this back in 1996 on a pentium 133 mhz (french version). Some years later I purchased the english version and finally completed it with no walkthrough (the whole game took me 2 years to finish).
Wow, I stumbled over this by accident and now I'm soooo happy! This is one of my favourite tracks in the Monkey Island soundtracks because it's so subtle in its execution.
Agreed, I installed a wavetable daughtercard back in the day just to hear the improvement of this over a Soundblaster. Then the special remaster came out and did a pretty damn good cover of it.
I sometimes wonder if my soul is trapped inside virtual locations like these. I grew up imaging places so far away thanks to video games - and here I am still, wishing they were the places I would rest.
Ah yes, this is one I will return to. I can't fix it without re-recording and re-upping the video, but when I do the "stormy seas" series, this will be the first one I do!
LucasArts still got it! They made it again. A remake of a beloved game and they put atmosphere in it. When it comes to atmosphere LA always knew how to do it!
I'm not joking, these are going to get me through grad school. Bless you.
Good luck in your studies!

Whenever i need a pleasant background music to work or draw, I always come back to these ambiences. Thanks for sharing them!
Glad you like them!
this is great. I only wish that the water sound would be a little bit more in the background
Thanks for stopping by! It's always so hard to tell how it will sound on other people's speakers and headphones. Practice will make perfect!
Love this game. Thanks
I love you for this.
Love this one but the click at 56:12 make it useless for sleep. Can you fix it?
