By giving Ukraine all this money (some of which goes missing) and VERY expensive military equipment, we're preventing them from negotiating and perpetuating death and destruction. OH, but as long as the arm suppliers in the US get rich, then its fine.
Negotiating what? Their surrender? And how does having the ability to defend yourself “prevent” you from negotiating?

And I dont know about you, but I don't care enough about Ukraine to put myself or my son in Ukraine to fight for corrupt Oligarchs who've already stolen over 40 million of our tax dollars. Are you gonna fight there? No, you're not. Doesn't matter WHO the US president is, someone has to stop this and that's ONLY done through negotiation. This wouldn't have even been an issue if Ukraine wasn't so corrupt that they were denied UN membership years ago. They were told to "clean up corruption" and then reapply for UN membership. They CHOSE NOT TO DO THAT!!! Actions have consequences ... or in this case a lack of action. They chose to become a corrupt nation run by rich Oligarchs and now they've been invaded.
And that's the thing, they DO NOT have the ability to defend themselves. The US by proxy is defending them. The second we pull supplies and military equipment, the war's over. So the solution, cut your losses. Negotiate. End hostilities. The solution is NOT to involve ourselves in Eastern Europe for the next decade.
The US doesn't actually care about Ukraine. LOL, it's pie in the sky to think that. Ukraine is an opportunity for the US military industrial complex to make billions, and BOY are they.
