Keep it up! Whats the next item on your quest to ferment everything? You're right on when you say less is more with extracts! But just be careful scaling up to the full batch, it doesn't always work in a linear fashion
What about adding coconut water to a beer brew? For instance, adding a pineapple puree to secondary fermentation on a coconut water brewed ale? Do you think that coconut water would ruin the ale, or lose flavor during the mash, or boil?
I bought a pealed coconut on a bag. Forgot about it and the bag inflated. I added lemon juice and tasted amazing. It was fizzy and delicious! But I think it's a one time ting whit my luck!
Hi I have some question if when we ferment this coconut beverage can we ferment it in a longer days like for a month? Is that possible in in fermenting ??
I love coconut water (I much prefer it lukewarm), but I have had fizzy coconut water and I've gotta say I was not a fan. Coconut water has a creamy mouth feel and when made fizzy I found just clashes with this texture. Like if someone put milk powder in a 7up. If you enjoy it I'm happy for you, but if you haven't made it yet I definitely recommend only a small batch at first. Coconut works with alcohol for sure, but carbonated? That's a Marmite moment.
Yea I hear you, coconut water is definitely polarizing. But you could totally make this non carbonated if you wanted and would still be good (if you like coco water). Thanks!
underrated channel, keep going!
Thank you! I will!
Cheers. The seltzer looks soooo good. And you explain everything so well.

You can also try making Kallu or toddy made from coconut or palm to make palm 🌴 wine. People having been doing this for 1,000 of years
You should try brewing makgeolli next
It’s on the list! Working on a sake right now
Interesting...
Indeed!
Followed this recipe but used coconut sugar instead. It just finished it fermentation. It has a slight mushroom/umami taste.
how do you know how much tea to make to add too water mix is that just a rull of thumb 1/3 flavor to desired amount
If I was to say make a 7 or 8abv how could I adjust this recipe/method

Aloha. Did you use the whole packet of yeast?
No I think I only used half. But you can always double check how much yeast to use with a free online yeast pitch calc to be sure
"The official beverage of Diddy Kong"
Haha damn just waiting on David Wise to score my videos!
Another great video Trent! I love how out of the box your videos are. What’s next to ferment? Inquiring minds wanna know, lol...
Haha thanks man, and I got some fun stuff in the works. Best way to get sneak peeks is to follow along in the Discord! 😉
How much yeast was used in this small batch?
I used a free yeast pitch calc online to find out how much to use per my OG
