How to surrender control and give it to God

- THis is something I have to remind myself of often. It is difficult to not try to control my own life sometimes. You can only trust God to the outcome, but you also can only trust Him fully if you know Him.
PS: I just watched this video and I say the work "sweated" when I talk about Jesus sweating blood. Haha!! I don't even think that is a word!!! Sorry to any English gurus out there ;-). I get nervous on camera. Besides, I have a math/science sort of brain ;-).

May I ask for a prayer I suffered a massive stroke last January it's by the grace of god that I survived my stroke lasted for 6hours before I was able to get medical treatment Ihave faith that I have been healed already I'm just waiting to manifest

I've read so many self help.bookd courses that go with the "make it happen mindset I'm.50 years old and my body's worn out I'm fatigued and unfulfilled All the time I feel I have to be in control I pray to surrender my control and give it up to God I just can't go on trying to work it all out God help us trust You
I know what you are saying. It is very difficult to let go, isn't it? I really struggle with it and have to give it to God each and every time, then I take it back again, then give it to him again, and then over and over. I can't do it on my own will, I have to have the Holy Spirit within me help me. Bless you, Gra ce ...

Great message and examples, Kirsten! As a scientist, I believe in the laws of the universe (known and yet to be known). Their effects touch us all every minute of our lives. What is right and perfect in the universe is what will happen. We are part of this amazing system. So, what is right and perfect will happen in it's own time, and no matter how much one frets, connives, thinks, etc. you can never change that process. And being a Christian, I know God is the force that drives it all, so YES...let God (whatever you believe it to be) take the control. Be calm and patient. Also, be happy in knowing that what is best for you is what will happen when the time is right and perfect. In the meantime, love, care, work, create, and be kind to yourself and others.
I didn't know you were a scientist. Are you a professor or do you work in a lab? You are right, we can't manipulate or fret or worry or control what will happen. The Lord directs our paths and gives us a hope and future as it says in Jeremiah, so why should we worry, right? I love you and love seeing you pop up on my channels. You are a blessing to me.
Thank you so much! I am a geologist. I kind of veered off of that a bit and worked in environmental science for over 20 years. One of my main interests is astrophysics. Since childhood I had a burning desire to know what's out there, lol

dealing with parental alienation of 2+ years... waited, waited, waited, trusting ... false allegations of abuse and see kids completely being taken away from me, turned against me ... I had to hire a lawyer and still trusting God in this. 1/2 of Christian advice I have been given is to hire lawyer and trust .... other 1/2 is to not do anything, let God open doors for it all. Very hard to apply this message in situation like mine. I am still confused, even though have sought answers and guidance daily

I am a new in my walk with God
I believe in God and he sent Jesus Christ his only son to die for our sins but I was doing my own sinful things and I confessed repented and now I am praying reading the bible talking to God Jesus Christ
I keep feeling like I don't deserve for God to give me a good life
I really want God to talk to me
I cry pray everyday saying I am sorry
I need to let go and let God work like you said

I did so many bad things
I really think God shook me to wake me up
I didn't deserve another wake up call but I believe God gave it to me again

Oh sweet friend, the Lord has forgiven you if you have asked for forgiveness, which I believe you have stated that you have done that. Do not let guilt eat you up! Guilt is from the enemy. God is a god of peace, not confusion. All of this confusion is not coming from God. The Lord never condemns us! You are feeling condemnation right now, and guilt.
Romans 8:1
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.John 8:11
She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said, "I do not condemn you, either Go From now on sin no more.1 John 1:9 says: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
