Everything this man makes, it’s like he’s been making that one thing for years. What a true craftsman!
Like watching how a skilled jeweller in the days of old would make something for their most wealthy clients, save for the cnc magic of the 21st century. The hinge solder up was so beautiful & practical & the lovely magnetic clasp so elegant & the leather forming so accurate & perfect in what it had to do. It is great that you have this portfolio of your work all on your own channel, like a back catalogue of the record industry. Thanks for sharing!
If I had a CNC, I could do that. Wait, I have a CNC, why don't I do that??? You are one of the reasons I fearlessly try new things every chance I get. Love the old stuff and the new stuff! Never stop changing.
You did a leather video about 3 years ago and Iv been doing leatherwork ever since and it’s been the most rewarding thing Iv done thank you
Jimmy DiResta, I know you will not even see this but...you are simply incredible and a inspiration. the leather forming in the beginning, I'm floored. That is BRILLIANT! so simple
What a cool little case! I learned a lot of new techniques that I didn't know about. Thanks for sharing this video.
You amaze me with every project that you do! But then again, I shouldn't be amazed cause you have shown time and again your ability to tackle successfully any project that you got your mind set on! Again, nice work! Looking forward to your next, always educational, video!
So glad you're posting this older stuff Jimmy! Always inspirational! :)
I'm a leather Smith and I'm extremely impressed!!! Top work dude!!!!!
Thanks again for the look into the past. Tremendous work and a real pleasure to watch you make. "Mr. Maker" indeed!
Taking us to class. Everytime time! Always impressed.
This is one of the first of your videos I ever saw when I discovered your channel. GREAT to re-visit this! Thanks for the #TBT re-posts!
HA, got you....there is no DIRESTA on your Dremel!
Super neat lil case...more small objects please.
Jimmy you are a great craftsman, you master many techniques and materials, congratulations and my admiration for you. Nice work
I kind of feel like this an under appreciated video. Love the final product.
Wow, you used that clear acrylic for the mould so we could see what was going on in there when you pressed it! That is over the top - brilliant!
Fantastic work, a man of many talents. Keep those videos coming.
jimmydiresta your the most Amazing Artistic creative person ever!! Wow! that leather compact case was so dam cool to see made your super gifted man I loved it!!!
Jimmy I enjoy watching your videos! The older videos I have not seen a lot of them ! Thanks for sharing Regards BobLee

Jimmy, beautiful project. Great video, as always. Love & respect.
Saw your old sink and said wow, jimmy loved his old sink so much he replicated it in his new shop.
Then I saw tbt haha
This is a great one. Love the cnc use to make the form and brass but I think my favorite is the hinge you made. Great work.
Lovely work as always! You could try flame polishing the acrylic for a smoother mould after machining it to save having to sand it.
YOU JUST KEEP GETTING BETTER AND BETTER GREAT TO WATCH.
It's annoying to see so much talent in one man 😉
Sometimes the smallest projects are the most brilliant!👍
So many great little ideas here!! Thanks!
Good craftsmanship great job
I like how there is a faint texture in the leather from the cnc tool path. That would be a neat detail to play with when making the forming dies.
Love your Videos Jimmy - thank you!
Great looking little case.
Beautiful job, man... Really fantastic! 😃
Awesome project my brother I love it,I can't wait to see wen you make the wrestling belt lol,I will see you again later much love Family :)

The art of doing beautiful things from nothing ... this is how I can describe mr. Diresta
I love watching everything you make but this type of item makes me think I could do that. Using m d f for the mould’s I managed something close. As always thank you
Your awesome man!! Thanks for the happy!! 😊 now maybe I can go forth and make something of my day!
Love how you made the case
I was wondering if you've given thought on making an addendum to the TBT's where you've learned more going over what you'd change? I'm just curious about how your perspective has changed after everything has been completed.
Flame. use flame to slightly melt the surface of the acrylic to lose the machine marks.
Great job again Jimmy
Mais um excelente trabalho !!! Parabéns !!!
Well done Mr. Diresta from Czech Republic. 😉
Jimmy, Your craftsmanship and artistry is unmatched. Your abilities in different materials and processes is amazing and I love the videos. Is what we see on your projects, first tries or does it take prototype to finish piece and then, film it?. Just curiosity.
We know more now too. Thanks, Jimmy.

Love you
Classic.
Super 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
Very nice
Excellent, and the inside would finish nicely if you had a 'flocking gun'..
Hmmm. Not entirely convinced. Looks like something my grandmother might have had in her handbag. She was born in 1882.
Awesome stuff! Please get your stuff off Make. That thing went overtly corporate years ago.
Отличный футляр.
