Thanks for the translations - for people who do not speak Finnish, good translations are essential to the appreciation of Maustetytöt’s fascinating and important work.
It was funny to see the word "haul" in the translation. I've known that English word for a long time but I listened to this song at least a dozen times before I decided to do some research on what they're saying in the chorus. It sounded to me like she's singing "baarista itseni pihalle haalaan" but I thought "haalata" isn't an actual word. I googled it, and lo and behold, it does mean pretty much the same thing as "haul" in English or "hala" in Swedish. Had I seen this video first, the translation would have actually helped me to understand a line I couldn't originally comprehend when sung in my native language.
@@anttilepisto6131 I reacted to this too, and at first I was not okay with the English translation of hauling. In the end, I give in and say it's ok, but my first react was to use the word "drag", "I drag myself out of the bar". Haul is usually used with vehicles... Haul a car, but drag someone out of the bar... haul=tow
Just like cities in America, it depends on which Vaala we're talking about. Vaala 47810 is only 186km from Helsinki. However, since the song lyrics tells about her mother asking her to move back to Oulu, I would assume the reference is to Vaala 91700 and that's 581km from Helsinki. (91km from Oulu).
@@pnnielsen That's right ,because Anna and Kaisa are from Vaala 91700, it's a reference to their home village. I'm originally from that area and I can relate to this state of mind pretty well :D
Wery good! Beatful girls and Song!!❤️❤️❤️
Kiitos.

IHANNA MAUSTETYTÖT, LOVE YOU!
THIS is true Finnish melancholy. Take a taxi 500 miles only to find out that the last bar in the home town has closed its doors :)
Niin kamala että pidän!
Hyvä likat,kiva kuunnella teitä👌🤩
Mun mieleen,,, aivan hieno
+1 Kiitos! Thanks! Danke!
Ole hyvä.
Tämä on ihanan eppunormaalihko.
No ei kai sentään. Leevi & the Leavings sekä Risto liene lähimmät.
Leevit on paljon lähempänä tätä yhtyettä mutta tän biisin kertosäe on ihan silkkaa eppunormaalia, kuten joku kriitikko (oisko ollu Hesarin) kirjoitti.
@@anttilepisto6131 se oli Hesarin kriitikon mielipide, joka ei perustu esim sointukulkuun vaan sävelkorvattomuuteen.
tässä on potkua.
No joo, joskus potkukelkalla menny paikalliseen niin se on menny jo kiinni!!😄👍
Aina vaan paranee .
Ouh Jeeh tytöt!
