Depression has no cure and is not something where you can "get better" it's only a matter of making it mild, and this song brings back good memories for me.

Yeah i can agree with that. I'm personally straight, but nobody refers to me as straight. That's what annoys me about sexuality. If you're not the norm, you get labeled like you do, and it's simply not fair. I may also be a bit extreme, but I also think people should not have to come out to their families. I never had to tell everyone I was straight. I hate that everyone assumes we will like the opposite gender until told otherwise. And, by the way, it was very brave what you did, I don't know if I could do it :)

I was relentlessly bullied in school when I was a kid. I will never forget the anger I felt towards others as well as the immense feeling of being lesser as a human being. This song strikes a very deep string to me - to the point of feeling some closure that this artist is reaching out to the child that was once me. I have much respect for this song, and hope that it has the same impact on the many others who were or are being bullied.

My father is not abusive at all. He just yells at times at me when he get frustrated but he’s never hurt me on purpose like some parents do. But me and my dad don’t see eye to eye i dont get along with him not near as good as me and my mother do. Because she’s more calmer then he is and she’s more open minded with people while my dad isn’t as much. He does not talk about his feelings as much my mother does so I think that’s a big reason we get along sooo good. I used to remember this when I was in 5th Grade. Me and my other classmates sang this song for our graduation before we leave elementary for middle school. It was a pretty good song for any of us to remember when we get older.
I hear this song and I can just picture some girl being bullied and having to overcome it all. By the end of the song she's ready, she walks up to her bullies and just starts to beat the hell out of them, screaming nonsense and swears. Then the music cuts and she's sitting in the detention room with her head hung like: "Well that didn't work."

I love this song so much. It has a very bittersweet feeling for me, but it’s also one of the only songs that can really let me break down in tears. It reminds me of all the pain that I’ve overcome when I did speak out against my abusers, but it would’ve made a great song to help me learn to speak out again, if I hadn’t learned to elsewhere. I had to do one of the most stressful things in my life today, which involved being the only one in a large group of people to stand up and tell the truth when everyone else was lying. It came at the cost of me losing some friends and time in a sport I love so dearly. But this song came on the radio while I drove to my defining moment, and gave me the strength and determination to do what was right.

My father is not abusive at all. He just yells at times at me when he get frustrated but he’s never hurt me on purpose like some parents do.
But me and my dad don’t see eye to eye i dont get along with him not near as good as me and my mother do. Because she’s more calmer then he is and she’s more open minded with people while my dad isn’t as much. He does not talk about his feelings as much my mother does so I think that’s a big reason we get along sooo good. But my dad isn’t abusive he never hurt anyone in his family in anyway if he did it’s an accident. He does not mean to be nasty to anyone its just he holds in his feelings

I love this song so much. It has a very bittersweet feeling for me, but it’s also one of the only songs that can really let me break down in tears. It reminds me of all the pain that I’ve overcome when I did speak out against my abusers, but it would’ve made a great song to help me learn to speak out again, if I hadn’t learned to elsewhere. So this kid who I thought was my friend started being rude to me, and yesterday I stood up to him. I yelled at him saying that he’s been really rude to me and how I don’t like it.. He’s a part of a group of (actual) friends I hang out with. I have now left that group and found a new group of friends. So I think this song fits me well
