The outdoor daytime scene was filmed at Gyeongbokgung Palace. It is one of five palaces in a complex, in the middle of Seoul, South Korea. Gyeongbokgung Palace is the largest of the five palaces. The clothing in the palace scene is a modern take on traditional Korean dress. The shirt TaeYong (one in the blue), Doyoung shirt and jacket at the beginning of the scene, (in orange and beige) and Jaehyun (in black and orange) are called hanboks, or a modern version of them anyway. The pants traditionally are called baji (trousers). TaeYong choreographed the Afrobeats legwork dance influence for the chorus, to go with the Afrobeats sound of the song. The choreo uses a few popular South African/Nigerian dance moves. Taeyong didn't think the chorus choreography was hype enough, so he put together the dance moves and presented it to SM in one hour. SM went with his choreo over the professional choreographers.
