for new pregnant ladies, i will like to know what is done with the placenta in uk hospitals.. do they give the parents the placenta or dispose of it cos we know in Nigeria, parents are been given their child's placenta.. hoping to hear your response .. thanks
It’s totally dependent on you. The hospital offers you options of taking it home with you if you want? Or them disposing it for you. In some cases it’s kept as specimen. 😊
