Setting up a HomeBiogas 2.0 system which is a biogas digester that will convert organic waste like manure and food scraps into methane to burn as fuel and an effluent byproduct that is great fertilizer for plants.

I'm glad you did this video. I bought mine 5yrs and I could never setup the system so I have a bag with no water half way done and wasting away. The company finally made a video also to show step by step to install but it's too late for me.

I feel so sad because I bought mine a year ago, and we couldn't set it up that time, because we had no water. We had no place but the goat house to put it and the goats got into it. Later it got wet, some parts got rusted, and maybe some parts are missing.. I don't know. I hope I can still put it together.

The sand bags apply the pressure. We are very satisfied with it.

¡Hola! No se si los componentes están hechos en una forma que no es perjudicial para el medio ambiente pero yo se los componentes están hechos de PVC y ABS plastico. También, no se si el componentes son reciclables.

You're welcome. Haven't seen many videos about the setup. I think mine might be the only one for now. You could contact HomeBiogas to see if they offer spanish manuals. The manual is mostly pictures and diagrams so it would still be understandable even if you can't read it.
I am trying to do its in Colombia too ... Basically in restaurants but the rules and diplomatic or governments politics have many issues. But I will be again again again
How did you connect the hose from the bag to your kitchen/the gas stove?
Via the supplied gas line and fittings.

It can be buried and comes with about 10 meters of tubing.

It takes about 300 gallons.

No, it was about 5 buckets or 25 gallons worth.

Can this be buried into the ground? Stray cats can try to cling their nails onto it. BTW I’m also in the island near the quake zone. It is always good to prepare. Is the stove burner included and the toilet pump? It didn’t say when I looked on the site.
I don't think it can be buried. We have stray cats in our area and have had no problems. The stove is included and the toilet is sold separately.

Are you in Florida? Do you need a permit for this in Florida? Using this for human waste? Think Florida Health department would ever accept this in place of traditional septic? In my build I'd probably hide it under a giant solar panel.

Would it be ideal for use on a farm with say six cows, 100 pigs and 15 people?
It would probably be too small. HomeBiogas just releases a bigger one called the HomeBiogas 7 which would probably be better for that size community.

when you finish doing your business can you use toilet paper 🧻?
I believe small amounts of toilet paper are fine. I use a bidet for that, so I haven't tested it. It's like a septic tank, which can usually decompose toilet paper, so I don't see why you couldn't.
