CRIS HERRERA - On Life at City Plaza

Cris Herrera runs the kitchen at the City Plaza Refugee Solidarity Space in Athens. The abandoned hotel was repurposed as refugee accommodation space which houses 400 men, women and children. The entire place runs on donations and the goodwill of volunteers like Cris who operate City Plaza together with its refugee residents. Every day, the kitchen serves up 1200 meals.
