- Session's BIGGEST Modded map to EVER EXIST! (Multiple Real Spots). It's been a while since I've explored some Session modded maps, and this is BY FAR the biggest Session modded maps I've ever seen. I only explored about 1/3 of the entire map, and we found famous IRL skate spots like Rincon, El Toro, etc. Since filming this video, this map got a HUGE update that almost tripled the size of the map, so let me know if you want a part 2!

Oh, you're still reading the description? That's kinda weird. I guess I'll tell you a bit about myself. My name is Garrett Ginner, I like skateboarding, playing video games, and having fun. To pick what side you pop out to in grinds, you let go of the input then quickly re-input your popping foot to the left or right ( OR straight down if you want to land back on the rail ) then flick your other foot up ( or down) - Example Trick - Nosegrind: While in nose grind, let go of your front foot input, then quickly reinput your front foot in the direction you want to pop to.. left or right ( think of how the side pops work on flat) then flick the back foot down to pop out.
any time you reset your input while in grind, the inputs become exactly how they are on the ground reguardless of if you have Trick Relative input ON or Off.
Side pops can also be determined based on how much weight is on what side. so if you do a smith but are a bit more on the opposite side, you will pop over to that side

How do you stop it from flipping out of the grind?
@@thomascreagh8507 depends if you have Trick relative turned on or off in the grind settings. If you have it On, you flick your foot in the same direction as the nose or the tail. If you have it off, you will always flick the foot up (or down, depends on if you are Nollie or olling out)

This could literally be the best skating game of all time if they gave console players more maps over time not just modded maps for PC players.

True but we already have massive maps that are highly detailed and the full game doesn’t come till September 22nd and we are getting a whole new city I believe
@@PeenyWeenyCrew as long as the new city is decent sized I think it would be great and maybe add DLC maps later. I think the new city will be all of San Francisco kinda like New York map

To pop out of a rails, you need to pocket the ollie to which side you want to go out. You have to release the grind first then side ollie left or right.

Something you can do to make spin tricks feel and look much better (big spins, fs/bs flips, 360s, etc) is to combine the sticks with the triggers. Think of sticks being feet, triggers are shoulders, sort of like how you would in SXL. With that, there are many combinations of trigger and stick movements to really make the game feel totally different. Nobody ever talks about this, and I don't know why. I had to figure it out myself. People like to contrast the 2 games and condemn Session for not being like SXL, but the controls and mechanics in Session are a lot more similar to SXL than people seem to realize, beyond just the spin mechanics.
For instance with spin variations, to do a fs flip, tap the trigger while doing a kickflip (to spin ~90 degrees), catch the board and spread both sticks outward to finish the spin (or inward for bs variations). This also works if you flick the sticks the opposite way to for shifty flips. You can also use just one stick depending on what direction you want to lean your weight for getting into grinds or going into/out of transitions like euro gaps.
Get the timing down, play around with it and try different combos of sticks with triggers and you'll find some cool stuff that you may have previously thought was a shortcoming of Session's mechanics. There are a few bugs, and the responsiveness can still leave something to be desired (which ought to be addressed with 1.0), but most of the issues I see people experiencing or talking about are actually user error.

Back 3s look way better if you Ollie and turn 270 and revert the rest by double tapping the trigger or turning on revert on landing in settings where you revert if you land sideways

Damn, I remember recreating Rincon in THPS2. I had to scale it MASSIVE because of the the game’s ridiculous physics lol
Yoo i remever making rincon in skate 3 and it was the hardest thing ever. Mostly because the limited tereian space and i kept seeing multiple “variations” of the spot(sometimes the basketball court was brown, sometimes it was blue)

Just wanna shout out the homie _puzzledpeach_ rq for this sick ass map. He even dropped an update just after I sent you this lol. Also idk if there's a way to walk there but there's a bunch of spots beyond the voids that you missed so the pin dropper might be a good idea.

The main difference between Session and XL is every skater in Session skates like Rob Welsh/Brandon Biebel, and skaters in XL skate like Wes Kremer/Evan Smith. Not one style is necessarily better, just different.

Ngl, as soon as I found out out skate(4) wasn't dual stick controls like Session or skater XL, I checked out. No reason to give EA any more money for doing the same bs for like 12 years now and only changing surface level shit in their games

Its sucks so much that us console players get a couple maps and that's it. Gets old fast, I mean I love the game but give us console players more to skate before this becomes a failed game on console.
it's an unfinished game and there's an entire new city coming in september
