I'm going to go uber-geek on this because I'm both a huge Star Wars and Halo fan. I believe it would depend on which generation of SPARTANs you're comparing. I think a SPARTAN-II such as the Master Chief would win a 1-on-1 with a Rep. Com. any day. Give the Commandos a number advantage, seeing as how they work in a squad, and it would be a close fight. A 1-on-1 with a SPARTAN-III like from Noble Team, or even SPARTAN-IV's from Halo 4, and the Rep. Com.'s stand a slightly better chance.
Super late but gotta say it’s crazy seeing your comment in these parts. I’m in the middle of your kotor II playthrough. Anyway yeah master chief would win. His speed and shields already have an advantage over delta squad. Depends on the terrain cuz they would make that work to their advantage in battle. You should make a video on that
Anyone else not hit the trigger just so you can listen to and time it with the music? When all of your squadmates are probably like hit the damn button already we're being overrun, but you're like naw give me a sec this is the best part. No? Just me? Okay.

You're lead to believe that, yes, he died... but they never actually say. I'm not sure if it's mentioned in any of the Republic Commando books... but it was left kinda a mystery in case they ever do a sequel.
If you play Swtor Kotet, and play through the chapter where you attack a droid factory alongside Mandalorians, these themes play in the background... When I played it with my Mandalorian Bounty Hunter, *DAMN IT BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES!* :D How bad ass would it be to have a game where you play as Mandalorian Neocrusaders in the Mandalorian Wars? I'd be in heaven!
This is actually mentioned in the Republic Commando books, but as you said they never clearly stated if Sev actually survived, because they asked Karen Traviss not to (even though she intended to, especially since fans were asking for it). So his fate was left open for a game that was never made (and probably will never be made, after Disney taking over Lucasfilm and cancelling all sorts of projects they were working on..)

@@Mobyus1 nevermind, it's the song when Anakin is marching on the Jedi Temple. But to be honest I really like what you did with it more, here. Zack Taft I’d have to say Delta. Their commando armor gives them superior protection from blaster bolts, explosives, you name it. And their DC-17m’s have much more versatility and lethality. On top of all that is their training. It was the most brutal and intensive training for any spec ops group with the possible exception of the ARC’s. Delta all the way.
Zack Taft I don’t see any real use for it in a fight other than as a distraction. That taser thing it does in the campaign is useless against the Katarn armor used by the commandos.
