Hello there! It was probably different kind of sweet bread. We usually put some fruit cream like a jam or brown sugar with butter and other sauce. It could have been one of them. I’m not quite sure though. Sorry 😊

Can I make the dough one day ahead and fry it the next day?
I have never done it that way. So I'm not sure. You may make the dough and freeze it over night and full it to thaw the next morning and fry it once the dough thaw and double its size. I don't know if that will turn out good though 🤔😏 I'm sorry that I'm not much of a help! Let me know how it turned out if you do try it that way 😊
