- This was the worst Amazon Flex Block
In todays episode we pick up a 4 hour Route from Rochdale
Before travelling into Rural England and driving round some of the most difficult areas to navigate

Top Tip - if u wanna avoid blocks where they send u far and wide with stops very far apart, don't go for the afternoon blocks. Stick to the ones in the morning 7.30am - 9.30am
Also try to pick up the blocks around 1hr before the start times for the best rates. I usually start looking at 6.30am for the morning blocks and get around £74 for a 4hr block - 35-42 stops..
The morning blocks are always very tightly packed and much easier. Also the easiest blocks are the Sunday morning ones cos no traffic, 4hr blocks done within 1.5hrs usually
I've never had a block that's been a slog, last 3.5 hour was 19 packages, was done in 90 minutes (not particularly rushing) and finished about 4 miles from home...apart from around Christmas I'd say you can easily knock an hour off the block time.
like the routes i do in wales every day for chester amazon and tbh not worth doing anymore they have become greedy just keep adding parcels
I don't touch those 4 hour blocks unless they hit £80 and each time I regret it. Last time was 130 round trip.
Oh Zac you did really well with that route I go from Deeside sometimes you do get the crappy rural blocks which I hate but it’s just luck with these Amazon Blocks lol 😊
Firstly I never do 4 hour blocks.Secondly I have a min pay for only 2.5 or 3 hour blocks .If they dont move up , then Im not involved.
Also I avoid food deliveries. For me its purely part time and for a bit of pocket money.I only do around 1 block every 2 weeks
It's a joke how these big companies pay so little for people working and make huge profits...young people these days get screwed with shitty contracts and hourly rate country gone down the pan
At the end of the day if you did better in school and concentrated instead of pissing your future away by messing about and nit listening then you would have had good grades and that would have given you high chances of a very good job, you cant expect to leave school with no grades and get paid good money in a shit job.
@@thetoad7367 School doesn’t mean all that much in my eyes, your average office is full of people who both did n didn’t do well at school.
@@thetoad7367 It's not really that, it's folk trying to make gig economy work into a full time job. It ain't ever going to work out. However it's good for a bit of extra income if you are not relying on it.
@@ZacJonesUA-camnot true really, depends what you classify average as 30 k a year or 80 k a year because the people who work in a office and get 30-40 k a year yes but the people who by the age of 35-40 are getting close or over 100 k in london
@@cabraonropes5622 n there’s also people in sales with no degree doing similar numbers, I don’t think most students end up walking into 100k jobs
@6:17 please tell me you give the cat a bit of fuss brother 😢
Try not to do 4hrs anymore, just not worth it last time did 150 miles , saying that just did a 3 hr today and it was a nightmare, in the centre of Doncaster all apartments with no parking and only bus lanes to get closer had to pay for parking and walk over a mile for multi drops
Those country roads look so scary, l would have so much anxiety 😦
I've done flex for the last 8 month can be hit and miss on good and bad blocks, I just started doing DSP, I can see why you left
Did you pick this up from Bolton depot Zac mate? I did a Rochdale route from BL5 (DXM5) also bro no way im driving to rochdale from liverpool for £60 quid haha
Hi Zac, who do you get Insurance with to do Flex? Thanks
Could you imagine doing this in an Amazon van
£60 quid wow absolute scumbags these horrible companies
What cars that its mint
Mg4
Don’t bother unless its £60+ for 3 hour, £68+ for 3.5 hour or £77+ for 4 hour
FACTS! I did the job over the Christmas period and pay was good. Every block was £80+ for 4hrs sometimes even £88 and in the last 5 minutes could hit £92 which are beautiful blocks - and to add, the route stops are so close-by because everyone is ordering presents etc. During the off-peak i stick to morrisons blocks. All these newbie drivers take the 4hr routes for £62 which is just a shambles. We need some governing body in the gig economy, but as they say, we're self employed so can refuse any work that doesnt suit us...
Can’t get that in my area. Everyone takes base pay like their lives depend on it
@@mafiavip7943 awh mate same here. Haven’t been able to get a shift the last few weeks. People going feral for £48 for 3 hours
I had one block with fucking farm without road 😮. In this situation can I refuse delivery to this location ?
Watching this I felt like I was high, what a unique and random combination of terrain lmao
😂😂😂
Aaah delightful. This is what we want famalan 😉 Zac back on the parcel beat.
I do Flex, 90% of the time it's fine, but flats are always a massive pain in the arse! I don't know if they account for this on the block time, I doubt it.
They are vile ain’t they mate. Seriously they are not worth the stress finding the address x 40. Then all the stop and start in the car and the petty.
you win some, you lose a lot with amazon flex, lucky the SSD near me only has 1 bad place it delivers to that requires high mileage
When i did flex in 2020 , a 4 hour block was £52. So in 4 years it has only gone up by £8
Been on flex for a week and nothing been sent to me yet
You have to go on offers
@@ZacJonesUA-cam keeps on saying check back in a few days
