Located in the Northwest Central Valley, close to Grecia, Sarchi, Palmares Atenas and San Ramon. The city is at 1050m altitude, where the canton stretches from about 750m up to 1700m above sea level. The canton of Naranjo has about 50k inhabitants and is one of the best coffee-growing regions in Costa Rica. The region has a favorable climate with mild temperatures and is a hot spot for retirement. If you are looking where to settle in a mild climate Naranjo has affordable lots and houses.
