- They can't put that awesome floating compass in the background and expect us to not want a closer look, so...let's climb to the top of it! yeah! The event was wonderful, and that spinny place with the light actuators is really trippy.

3:19 Actually the load mechanic of the compasses are just tied to the starting area of each copy! Just walk near the playable area of each duplicate chasm area and you can spawn all 4 compasses at the same time, it's a very cool sight to behold. Though it only seems to work in the archon quest, when I tried it out in the event it doesn't load in when I do the same thing.
Also I love how each copy has at least one entrance and one exit. The first 3 areas can all be entered via a missing part of the border that the devs might have missed where you can literally just walk in and out, and the last one is very tricky but it has a very conveniently placed tree ;) . This makes it possible to completely finish the domain without even using the Fantastic Compass and entering through any doorway!
Yeah the event domains are actually different domains from the Archon quest domains
I tried it during the archon quest but i couldn't get out oof

When I originally got to the last part with the foggy/cloudy floor, I was curious as to how big the space was, so I walked until I expected to find an invisible wall, only to just be dropped into the void
tbh this entire update felt very funky map wise, so it didn't surprise me that this place was able to be glitched out so easily haha
I was playing through this quest constantly thinking "damn I can't wait for the Moosashi episode on this one!"

I've always loved how games make you feel like you're in a big space, I've always wanted to explore out-of-bounds areas in games. However, when I see people getting out of bounds, it makes me feel so uncomfortable! 😂
I completed the quests just yesterday, and the moment I completed them I awaited this video. This answered all my questions.

there was also a way to get out of bounds in the first locked area of the archon quest, there's a place where you can place geo to climb up or use keqing, it leads to an open area
I think in the 2nd domain, the other rooms are somewhere above the "abyss" part. At least the structure looks very tall from outside. Unfortunately I drowned before I could get up there and it forced me to continue the quest. The hub world can be escaped easily as well but it's not very interesting...
I've learned not to question how you figure this out
just pick a short character and try to squeeze into ever crack you see , and sure enough u will end up finding it
who knows how many hours he spends looking for it and then planning the video before he starting recording

@@CrimsonAkato I genuinely accidentally found this I though you had to do some things to do in each "dimension" since I didnt know what to do (or it might have been broken) and decided to look in the mine place since you have the ability to open it with before it gets stuck and theres nothing there and I was looking everywhere and climbed on it I even though it was the way it was meant to do until I noticed I can't get back
That probably took me like 15m to find and accidentally

I did go oob in the fantastic compass domain to explore a little (made a video about it too), and that giant black sphere that contains the little island looks exactly like a black hole and its event horizon... it was kinda creepy gliding into it and seeing the world behind me disappear xD

I watched this and several other videos tonight, and they are very aesthetic! Subbed!
Can you do Hu Tao's story quest domain, so getting out of the looped labyrinth and seeing the mechanisms of it, plus seeing the exit of the labyrinth with the bright light, cloudy grounds and other random terrain?
I also want to see adepti realm domains getting this treatment, plus all those one-time reward domains that give shrine keys!
I'm also interested in seeing teapot realms explored to its entirety with your picturesque views!
Specific localized areas aside, how about going to spaces where there is continuation but Paimon would say the catchphrase? (e.g. north of Mondstadt with a river leading into it, or Liyue WIP areas)
I've explored Hu Tao's domain, but never made a video on it. I might do so when I get there with Traveler-san, or maybe I'll just randomly toss one up with the footage I have already one day. Who knows!
The loop part is a bit weird, because they put a restriction on reactions within the water tunnel you drop into. Geo constructs can't be placed, and the water doesn't react, so it can't be frozen.
the last one was SO COOL, i loved the whole starry sky aesthetic but i'm far too incompetent to get to it LMAO
While the rotating puzzle domain and of course the compass stand out as a cool spectacle, the colored light doors below Seirai Island interest me the most cuz they’ve never been used elsewhere before or since. Like, why? Even as objects within the intended play space of the game, they seem so alien.

I haven't checked everything this event might offer because i'm a little busy with school but i had explored some areas myself. Holes are pretty easy to find funnily enough, messed around for a while around the chasm-like domain, it's funny how hoyoverse bothered to surround some areas with teleport barriers. At first i thought all of the area except the intended ones are teleport barriers, like the ones in artifact domains heh.
I decided to goof around with yanfei's ai too, took her out of bounds, it was funny. First, i tried to go swimming and see how she'll react, and then i found her to be standing underwater a little below me. Yeah i don't think we'll hear xiao underwater yanfei. Next i tried to make her fall to the void by making her stand on traveller's geo construct, but when it did break, she just?? floats?? sksjdja i didn't know yanfei has levitation capabilities.
Haha, yeah. I did the same. Planning to cover it in a video soon, plus a little something else it led to. Poor Yanfei...or I guess not, given the observed results of these tests.
Oh thanks a lot i was really trying to go out of bounds but i found no way out. Also they did very smart stuff with the animation and skybox you talk of. Literally loved that

I was stuck in this domain because my mini-compass was bugged (or I was just being dumb at the time) and I was getting desperate to solve it I tried everything to move foward and accidentally got out of bounds and because I watch Moosashi I knew what I had to do and I eventually flew to the final area with clouds and got stuck there having to restart

funny thing, i accidentally got myself out of bounds when doing the archon quest here and after exploring a bit when i flew into the skybox of the compass to get myself back in-bounds i got stuck in the abyss segment! had to redo the entire domain :')

I presume you mean Kaeya's first story quest domain? I'll keep my eyes peeled for when I get to it with Traveler-san, although that account's toolset is limited to Traveler-only.
But if you mean Kaeya's tutorial domain from the prologue, I covered parts of that in the first episode of Traveler-san.
I attempted to break out of this but got lazy and just finished the quest instead

0:21 so I went to the hole that has light, and I almost got to outside, but then I just got teleported??? There's a barrier at the top for some reason.

You can still explore it! Use the "Realms of Guile and War" event, which uses the same domains that the story quest did.
@@Moosashi I managed to get in! But I also noticed an inconvenience, it is not possible to 'climb'. I can walk and jump, but not climb with my hands - so to move up I'll have to use skills like kazuha/keqing/venti/albedo. Was this also the case for you?
@@UsuratonkachiXP I also did it in the realms of guile and war, couldnt climb any walls so I just used kazuha + geo traveler mostly to climb and managed to explore all of it!
@@Myselfasrose Ohh I see! I'll try some more then! I managed to get on top of the compass after a lot of tries xD I don't know how to find that door (with illusions) though, is that place accessible if I start off out of bounds at the place with the huge compass?
@@UsuratonkachiXP I couldnt find the illusions door either. When I went there through the realms of Guile & war domain, it was the same as shown in the video from 2:24 onward. I think the only way u could go to that door would be in the archon quest that cave underground but ive finished it already so I wouldn't know since I cant go back there:(

You can access it through Realms of Guile and War, at least until the event ends.
I was going to go out through the opening near the ruin serpent but they patched that place. I wanted to see how far the land goes but i guess there's no way out. Is it that the whole land gets unloaded once the archon quest is over? Because there was no expansion of the area and we just fell deeper
This Archon Quest takes place on a separate map from the Underground Mines, so I imagine it's no longer accessible after the quest completes. Given the intense lore tied to the place, it's one of the few times an area being temporary makes sense.

@@Moosashi also when you mean seperate map it wouldn't be near the space of celestial nail right? Like a map within a map of the Chasm?
how did you climb the compass? i get to a certain height and then cant place starfell sword anymore... maybe im taking the wrong path?
Might be the case. If I recall correctly, I went up the west side of it, then moved back towards the center before going up higher.
