" ............. he asked "heavier than VAST album #1".......... and i'm "fucking BURIES it." lol.............. nailed the cancer op btw..... so in 2019? Prodigy were coming on tour, so i insisted that we go, (my son and i) Brisbane Riverstage.......... just an unreal gig........... it was Keef's 3rd last one as it turned out, so i'm hell glad we my son saw him live........ i had seen you guys at the gold coast Big Day Out in 1997, and just being in the crowd made me a fan, i wasn't a fan prior to that, and was frankly a real "rock purist" and was just staying in the same crowd spot cos the Offspring were next up................. but god damn did i get a conversion that night. i got full tilt into 'fat of the land'- even updated the stereo in my 76 mk 2 Ford Escort so it could HANDLE it.... lol...... (it was a cassette deck and shite speakers prior) .......... Right before 2011? there was a trailer for the upcoming DUKE NUKEM game....... and the trailer was sick AF, and my kids loved it, and we'd watched it a bunch in anticipation of the game.... but a housemate of mine got curious and googled who did the song...?? Turned out to be "invaders must die"..... so i got it on disc, and truth bombed my kids in the car... "hey you know that song that's in the duke trailer..? Check it out, * hits play on car stereo * ...... Daughter: "so who is it?" . Me: "they'll TELL YOU in a sec who they are..." ............ with the lyric reveal (at 0:19 in the official clip vid) "we are the prodigy"........ fucken BLEW THEIR MINDS, since they were already fans...... Thanks for being around guys, thanks for the dope memories so far.......... keen for the new ones.... ;)
