  • Leyland PD3 RCS382 Working In Fife On 6th & 7th April 2013
The Stagecoach collection Leyland PD3 RCS382 was used on some special workings on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th April 2013, and then had to be returned to it's base at Lathalmond. My friend George was doing much of the driving and thanks to him I was able to film it passing through Leven to Aberhill depot on the Saturday and at various places on the Sunday. Includes a visit (both by the bus and a special passenger) to see our buses at Methil West on the Sunday.

I remember in the mid ‘60s travelling from Glasgow to Dumfries on the top deck of one of these buses! It was a rather ‘long’ journey, both distance and time - wise!

Superb, just, shouldn't a Fife Scottish bus be red, Western was black,n,white?

This shade of darker red was used by Western SMT and shouldn't be confused with the brighter shade of red used by Fife. This vehicle is part of the 'Stagecoach Collection', which is currently stored in Fife, with the vehicles sometimes being used for hires and publicity events.
