All international travellers including seafarers had a common issue of adding passport details in Vaccination certificate after vaccination as their was a issue of foreign countries not accepting adhar card as a valid document , so here is the video to send a request for change in Vaccine certificate details.

Name in Vaccination Certificate & Aadhar Card - (First Name+ Middle Name + Last Name )
Whereas Name in Passport - (Last Name + First Name + Middle Name )
So in which Format we should Add our Passport details for linking passport with Vaccination Certificate?
Both sequences are ok, spelling mistakes shouldn't be their.

@@rudranarayanmohanty2559 space can still be accepted so far as name is concerned in vaccine certificate, however if you have correction facility available than better do things perfect to avoid future problems.

Can be a problem because it's not accepted by WHO and many countries consider covaxin as useless.

@@MrJoe79 leave it on your company bro..if they allow you to join than its good enuff.. many places outside they are providing the vaccine when you are hotel quarantine and also hope WHO includes in their approved list in coming future.

Hello , I could see passport link details on cowin today. Just want to check as I registered thru aadhar card with my first and last name and in passport name is same but first is last name and then in given name I.e. my first name. Will it work or any changes required plz help.
Sequence doesn't matter, if their are no spelling errors than no problem.

Brother I took my 1st dose but certificate which I got has wrong passport number so after that when I raised an query to correct the passport number then it is showing that your request has been denied.. Do you have any idea about that.

Correction is made only once...not twice....now if ur 2nd dose is left than tell them to correct during 2nd course

On 25.6.31, I changed name as per passport n after it is,approved, added passport number. Though changed name n passport number appears on screen, certificate shows only PAN card (given at the time of vaccination). When I track, it says "generation of digital certificate is under process". When will the certificate with passport number available on line ? Already 3 days lapsed ! To whom should I contact for help ? All the contact numbers given on COWIN r either wrong or not responding.
On 25.6.21....
It takes around 5 days minimum, the site is under continuous upgradation, you should receive with max 10 days from 25th as they are not responding to mails but they do check and rectify your issues.
Sir I added my passport details on certificate successfully and rectified certificate with passport no also downloaded. But for 2 dose I have to show my original passport or Xerox copy ??? My passport is with Agent. I have also e visa with me.
If passport is wid agent than u can get it from him unless it's in embassy, if u can't get passport than take passport Xerox, visa application or any proof to show its given to visa agent and also take adhar.

R u a international traveller ? If not than its not required, but if yes than get it corrected as per passport name to avoid any problems in future in foreign countried
Sir, I tried this. I got sms regarding confirmation, but now when I check in 'track request' option, it showing as 'your request for correction is denied' without any reason. What can I do next?

I got both doses done with Adhar
Best you can do is contact the helpline number which is mentioned below in Cowin website when u click on raise an issue and also mail them regarding same, the site is undergoing lot of testing thus certificate is not getting updated.
In my account it doesn't show the option for adding passport number.. may I know why it doesn't show.. do you have any idea?

Name format how it should be given name following father name or father name following given name
Surname, name ,fathers name
Or
Name, father name , surname
Both are ok

In "correction in certificate", I am not getting any option to modify photo ID from aadhar to passport.
If my aadhar name is not same as passport so in this case how I add passport num on covid certificate
Just do both corrections together in one go..and mail them

@@rudranarayanmohanty2559 better to get rectification in ADHAR as it's correction form is to be filled by going to the ADHAR centre and it's a more simple procedure as compared to correct name in Passport, also renewing name in ADHAR is of less cost.
@@SailorVikas sir, the issue is can i change the vaccine certificate name to passport name and then add passport number without updating aadhaar. Will the cowin officials check my changed name and match it to adhaar. Will the deny the change??
@@rudranarayanmohanty2559 if u r adding your passport details than they should verify it with passport name and not ADHAR, so u can do it, but keep in mind that nowdays correction in the vacccinnation certificate is taking time for some ppl, probably a month too for some ppl.

Till now option for 2nd dose has not came however we hope they add an option after 2nd dose, you also keep checking from your side and also send an email to them stating your issue. They won't reply to you but will try to resolve your issue.
