Ok. Chan has talked about how he wrote the lyrics about his years as a trainee. Since he was a trainee for 7 years, he has seen a lot of mental suffering watching all his friends either debut without him, or get dropped from the programs. liSA has been putting out awesome music for around 11 years. Chan has always looked up to her & the Kids were very excited to collaborate with her. Let's see. Things I noticed in the MV. -The bag people seem to be representative of both faceless people who are both worshiping & hating at the same time, or inner doubts & thoughts that come when they are alone. -I.N is the first to stand against the tide of people & grasp the light. -Everyone stays isolated till Chan gets taken by the hands. They all had separate things happening. Being isolated, being stared at, being forced to constantly run, being chained in one place, etc. Then Chan is taken & they are suddenly moving. -liSA seems to be a unified voice leading them in a direction. She has the lines " the ashes to prove my passion burning endlessly" (Or close to it....I am horrible at remembering exact lyrics) -When they are unified & moving against the crowds, the ones who are most able to withstand pressure without flinching are in the lead. (Lee Know, and Changbin are the most obvious at the front making a path for the others) -When they reach the wall Chan had been trapped against, they tear it open. There is only 7 of them when this happens....They are going through to reach Chan. (Chan has said in multiple instances that the other members have saved him. If it wasn't for them, he doesn't even think he would be on this planet) -When they are 8 is the only time you see them smile. -There are shadowy hands that are trying to touch Changbin in the beginning, and just as he wakes up you see clawed hands reflected in his eyes/the moon. -Felix's wing actually kinda seems slightly separate from him. Almost as if he has a guardian angel protecting him. It lifts & reveals him a little before starting to cover him again. -In the final dance scene, the only ones with no red in their outfit are Chan, Changbin, and Felix. I listened to someone explain that the colours kinda mean something. liSA has a strong red & black theme. She seems to represent courage & determination. The others have red in their outfits because they gained those from outside sources. (Like the other members, or helpful people) The three who have no red are ones who already had those and didn't get them from an outside source. Changbin & Felix are the least effected during the MV. Felix already had an inner fire, and Changbin refused the shadowy hands. Chan was taken, but he didn't stop trying to escape. There are many flashes of Chan staring ahead, or jerking awake & not just allowing himself to be swallowed. You see him float above the people who took him, until the others break through to him.
Here are some of the thoughts I’ve had after watching ‘Social Path’ several times The flashing during Changbin’s part is reminiscent of paparazzi/camera flashes, like the boys are constantly hounded by flashing cameras. Lee know is being worshiped which is like how people put idols on a pedestal which is freakin scary because one wrong move that shows your not perfect and boom! Turned on. Plus the hands almost grabbing at him like the freaky creepy fans who go too far and touch idols without their concert. In various scenes the boys are being chased which lets be honest both fans and antis (plus paparazzi) go overboard and do chase idols both in person and on social media. I.N being ignored is also reminiscent of idols being ignored because of stupid reason, like sections of fandoms who only like certain members of a group and ignore others acting like said member doesn’t contribute or something! Plus when you are ignored as an idol it can be just as painful as being too sort after and ‘seen’ especially when you are a rookie idol. Both Innie and Hannie being in that mirrored room really shows how idols have their images, actions and words shoved in their faces all the time, they always have to be ‘reflecting’ on themselves in order to please people. Channie being strangled is so poignant right now what with the fans actions silencing him (stopping him from making Channie’s room) not to mention antis always trying to silence the idols they dislike or other fans when they simply don’t agree on something. And of cause the boys push back against the flow, going their own way. I noticed they show a lot of Lee Know this time which is much appreciated since they didn’t show him nearly enough in ‘Scars’. So yeah those are my random thoughts so far.
Incredible analysis, thank you for sharing!! There's definitely a lotttt going on with the narrative here, and I'm not surprised as Stray Kids always have a layer of depth to their work. You definitely noticed more than I did lol!! 🤗🔥
Hi Marco! I really enjoyed your reaction here. I love this collab and of course SKZ always impresses with their talents! My first time listening to Lisa and love her!
They are the best and this collab with Lisa its amazing. Your reactions are always great. I have one group for you to react that i think you never reacted to, i never saw any in your playlists. They are called OmegaX, the fandom is called ForX, they are a group formed in June 2021. They have many great songs and perfomances. They passed a rough time last year with the companie they were in but this year they finally win the lawsuit againt them and started over in a new one and we are all waiting for their comeback. Two of the members appered this year in a bl drama called "A Shoulder to Cry On". Take a look at their mvs please, they deserv a lot of support and more people should know them. I sugest "Love Me Like", "Vamos", "What´s Goin´On" e "OmegaX Special MV". Thanks and continue the great work.
I'm thinking they recorded this song in different locations and Lisa was edited in at the end, but yes, it would have been WAY cool to see them all interacting together! Such an amazing collab! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Also it could play into the fact she might have had a diff schedule after announcing the birth of her child in April .. so made sense to shoot her scenes to her schedule as opposed to doing scene interactions with the boys
This track is stuck in my head on repeat now...and I'm not upset about it 😂. I seriously ❤ it!!! Can't wait for the EP to be released.

Excellent observations!! Thank you for sharing!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Reminds me of Falling In Reverse and old punk videos of Papa Roach, like To Be Loved.

@@marcogennuso haha, we’ll like I said, I had to watch the mv a good number of times before any of this came to my mind.

Yes, I think you’re right!
The BTS shows that they are at the same place though.
Does it really? 😂
LiSA traveled to Korea for the mv, she and skz were together
Also it could play into the fact she might have had a diff schedule after announcing the birth of her child in April .. so made sense to shoot her scenes to her schedule as opposed to doing scene interactions with the boys
The Song is so great and fits LiSA perfect. Love it! 🔥
Love it!
Could you check out X:IN - SYNCHRONIZE? This girlgroup is amazing and their comeback is very good!!
