i'm from Peshawar born and raised and spent all my 25 years here, in past between 2007-2012 or 2014 there was no day without bomb blast or terror attack and we knew that some thing might happen tomorrow but now it's totally change new wider roads , clean and very peaceful. Recruitment in law enforcement agencies like police patrol or city patrol, private security companies and rescue services. For waste management and water we have got now water and sanitation services WSSP. Govt have built Rescue 1122 headquarters here in Peshawar and now expanding it to the other parts of kpk including backward rural areas previously known as fata which were war torn and recruitment for fire and rescue in underway. Recruitment of lady commandos or lady police is another mile stone of kpk police. Traffic police is upgraded with new expensive bikes and gears in past there was hardly a traffic police constable in square but they have inducted thousands of traffic police now you can see light Green vest after 100 meters and 3-6 sometimes 8 traffic police personnel in one square. Govt hospitals have been upgraded like expensive private hospitals AC's in waiting lounge Govt hospitals doesn't give you a vibe of govt hospital. Everything is changed if you compare it to 7 years before, Peshawar is developing and its development is still underway, its becoming beautiful and beautiful day by day MASHALLAH, other day i was thinking it might surpass karachi , Queta, rawalpindi in look. The only issue i think left is drug addicts there has been a remarkable increase in drug addicts in our city in past 5-10 years and you can find hundreds of them roaming on streets near karkhano market, i think govt should also look at this matter and do something for rehabilitation of homeless drug addicts, they can also play role in country's cycle.
There was no border between pakistan and Afghanistan and peshawar is very near to border so that why terrorist from the other side did this type terrorism in the past but now peshawar is 100 per safe because now there is fence on border !! Which Afghanis do not accept but we don't care .. Safety first .. Now peshawar is safe and sound we would like to host you in future ☺❤
I have lived in Peshawar for 3 years. It is NOT Dangerous. It is totally safe and people in Peshawar are very nice to each other even to Punjabi, Sindhi and Balochi.
