Hi! Do you remember my mantis practising Kung Fu with me in the previous video? She laid eggs!!! It's amazing! I thought it's a male. After several weeks, the egg sac hatched to many baby praying mantises. They're so adorable! I am excited making friends with them.

I think the praying mantis is like my favorite bug. All those other bugs especially spiders; I can't stand. Now to watch documentaries on spiders interests me but to touch or see them on me is a big NO.

How many days did you wait for the egg to hatch?
Hi, I don't remember exactly but it took the eggs around 4-5 weeks to be hatched.

@@AwwStories The mantis I watched lay an egg sac on my orange tree did this as well. They can fly, so I think after the first few days after laying, it is their natural instinct to move away from where she lays, so that she doesn't later make the mistake of preying on her children. This is probably a natural instinct she has, as devouring your offspring defeats the purpose of reproducing and passing your genes onto the nest generation, doesn't it? My Mother preying mantis never died after laying either. I am waiting for the nymphs to hatch. I have put a big cardboard box at the base of the tree, with rotten fruit in it. It is now producing hundreds of new fruit flies everyday, ready for my baby mantis to be born.

She disappeared for the reason I don't know.

There are around 50 ones. I released all of them to the nature after they're hatched.
