When Swami Chinmayananda was around crowds of people, such as when he was travelling through airports, they would all ''wake up'' to their true nature. Pure consciousness, beyond the worries and cares of the day was automatically experienced. My Guru said that because he was Gurudeva's attendant, his mind became one with Swamiji's and that he could clearly see the world through Swamiji's divine, non-dual eyes. It was no wonder then, that my teacher only took two years to realize the Self in a firm manner, never to suffer the dis-ease of ignorance again.
