Brilliant advent tree box better than bought ones. Oh my you could put loads in these not just sweets. Socks, knickers, make up, mini candles
When you turned your first layer upside down with your boxes placed in and glued on your second layer, I almost had a heart attack. I would have had glue on the table some where and would have ruined mine, but yours seemed to be alright. Wow, could not believe it. you really are a pro. Great idea and Lots of work. A real labor of love for someone to cherish.

If you have a beautiful wrapping paper this would be a good use for it. Wrap the rectangles with wrapping paper. It's thin folds easy. You could use vinyl as well like the ones you use with a Cricket
That is very beautiful. I make ones like that but I make it with heavyweight card stock instead of grey board. I used to sell them at craft fairs. Your is far better though. Will last a really long time. Love those papers too. Thank you for sharing

Oh this is lovely😍 I keep meaning to make one and never do 🙈. I always love your 3d makes, especially Christmas ones. 🙈 just threw my old trimmer away🙈 d'oh! So handy having measurements on your blog! Must try that collal, the clear is my happy glue and use it on everything! Inches are much easier, mm are far too fiddly! Sam-have you tried lightly cutting the back side of your Gray board and then folding/scoring the front to get your 3 sides? Bookbinders do this when making lightweight books. Then reinforcing with the green strips for stability. Worth a try?

I would use micropore surgical tape. Invisible nice, sturdy, no need for glue to assemble the pieces.
But I wanted the green border and not the grey board in show? Or am I’m not understanding what you mean?
@@MixedUpCraft just for assembling the chipboard pieces with no fuss or mess. Like I do with my scrapbook mini albums. Then I add the paper. Works for me.

1/8 is one track on your scoreboard, there are 8 tracks within each inch.

It the 300 gsm Craft UK smooth card.
Would have been better if you had written out the centimeters of all the pieces :(
