Lately I've been feeling a disconnect from my own cat as she ages and becomes more aloof. It was then that Bastet started whispering to me to come back close to her. I pray that I have the strength to take her wisdom and turn away from worldly progress for at least a little while to rest beside her.

@edie4321 Your response made me revisit this comment, and knowing what I know now, it feels... bittersweet. This must have been posted in Oct/Sep. I found a lump on Loki's jaw in mid November, and it has now been two weeks since her cancer diagnosis. Operation would be intense at her age and has a low likelihood of success (+ it would require traveling hours with a cat who gets carsick after only 10min). I suspect she has 1-2 months left at most, and I fully intend to keep her very happy for this final chapter of her life.

I have adored cats since I was a baby, i am almost 58, i rescued them much of my life, I have rescue cats and a house full of cat figurines and pictures and cat books. My youngest cat Miriam is sleek and black, the other two are tuxedo.

I am Pagan and I've always felt a connection with cats. I love cats and am a cat sitter, i look after other people's cats while their parents, as i usual call them, are away. I left a pull towards her and asked if she would protect my cat when he hasn't been well or while i myself have been away. I have a sacred space for her. When meditating if felt like she was making herself available to offer more than just protecting my kitty so have looked into what other things she is known for. I usually give her treats which then give them to my cat, water, catnip tea and is partial to some red wine on occasion. I also made a special wash that i use whenever I clean her space.

I am a cat sitter too - I always carry a small altar to Bast with me wherever I go so that the spaces I am in and the cats I look after are protected, peaceful and harmonious. When I was a child I was obsessed with Ancient Egypt and I've had some very vivid dreams that seem to be from that time and linked with the temples and the rites of the dead. I do the cat sitting because I can't have one of my own right now and also to honour the ones that I have lost and miss dearly. I feel very connected to the Unseen around cats and I always notice that when I'm not around them it feels like I've lost a limb and my intuition is not as strong or clear.
Good Greif. I got into Bastet Workings recently and lo and behold! Her furry children now surround my house. Two groups of Momma cats and their kittens. A few strays that come by every now and then. And one black cat and one white cat that come by to visit and get food on the daily. I wish I could adopt them all, and if I still lived in the country side I would but I am in the city in a small place with two beautiful cats already. Both of them where rescue cats. Now I feel compelled to make/buy some outdoor cat shelters for them. I fret for the winters here can be extremely brutal.

Some might say they or the Cat Goddess herself where/are protecting me. Growing up we always had plenty of furry friends and where blessed to of had a fair sized house in the secluded country side. At one point had up to 10 indoor/outdoor cats. They where all characters of strong personalities. As a baby they taught my sister and me how to walk and got very defensive of us when we cried.
I miss those days long past.

Thank you✨👑✨cats seem to follow me wherever I go or move to doesn’t matter the city or state they show up to my door with a warm meow. they come out when I walk pass them just rubbing up against me 😌 meowing laying gently on the ground swirling around I talk to them and sing to them. I feed them and try my best to take care of them when I see them around my home. I had a rather odd but unexplainable experience with a group of cats. one in particular was a all black 🐈⬛ with glowing yellow green eyes it swiveled up in a tree and started to dance I told my neighbor do you see this we both was in shock 😳 I told him just joking around watch me command these cats to come to me they lined up behind each other and came to me as if I was a queen surrounding me my neighbor. He was so scared because it was so many I got a little scared too because they were climbing all over me. Now it’s a grey kitty cat that visits me she’s so sweet when she see’s me she follows me home I know she’s hungry and thirsty so I feed her and rub on her. I often have dreams of Egypt I even 👂🏽 the music 🎶 in my dream’s there are 2 dreams in particular. one dream I was in a royal wedding the other dream I had I was riding a 🐪 I arrived at a pyramid I went inside with a torch and was reading the hieroglyphs writing on the wall on the wall.
I could see myself in the dream reading the writing and writing on the wall. I bought a galaxy light projector while sitting on the floor next to it I looked inside and literally saw Egypt I could see all the pyramids , temples 🌴 with the light at the top just shinning I sat there in shock 😳 I could see the 🐪 walking Thur the sands I wiped my eyes a couple times it was still there I have never experienced anything like that before. I also feel strongly connected to sekhmet I’m a Leo 8/11. I connect with Ma’at also blessings everyone.💙🙏🏽💙

This has been my whole life. I had four cats growing up, I would always find rescues or meet all sorts of kitties on walks. I had a dream about flying through the pyramids with winged arms.
I pray Baset takes away the grief and pain of the lost of my fur babies - it’s been almost 15-20 years and I miss them all. I dream about them often. I want another fur baby but I can’t bring myself to bring one home as we’re taking care of my elderly parents and there are trafficy streets, foxes and other predators- My parents always had a love hate with animals as products of their upbringing in the 50’s - once when I was around 7 or 8, I woke up one morning and all my beloved cats were gone. My parents took them away and dropped them off at a cat park. I remember I refused to eat or talk to them and then they relented and I got all but one back.
I’m in my late 30’s now but I couldn’t bear to have another animal be a poker chip in my life, so I’m going to save money and after my parents are gone I will get a kitty again.. that is if I can allow myself love. I have a feeling one will come time when the time is right. ❤

Hey, yes, the cat at 2:10 looks like my new friend. He stopped by today again for the second time. I had some food ready for him to go. He was so hungry. I asked him if he wanted to eat, and he said yes. I was wondering when he was coming back.I got a mail delivery, and he came running from the other side when he saw me.

There was a time i had vivid dreams of egyptian themes. And talking to Gods. Those dreams were always interesting. I also have 3 cats thst were strays, and i always say hi to two of them that hang around the house. Ive always been interested in egyptian mythology

When I was a little girl I was always obsessed with cats and Egypt. I told my mom I wanted to be an egyptologist and while I wasn't allowed to have indoor pets.. I had outdoor cats. The first thing I did when I turned 18 and moved out was adopted a cat of my own. I am thinking bastet has always been with me aside from growing up in a Christian household

I have been seeing cats, especially black cats everywhere I go.
Bastet was often portrayed as a black cat.
I had a 12-week kitten show up in the rain storm hop in my lap. She's still here just happened last Tues.

One sign of the goddess may be a numb, prickling feeling in your leg. It went to sleep, because the comfort of your cats asleep in your lap overrules your physical comfort. That inability to walk and put pressure on your leg for half an hour, is a sign of her approval! At this very moment, she seems to be approving of me right mightily! 😻

I hear you. It’s hard watching them change, knowing they’re still the same soul but different with time. She may be aching or confused, but she’s still your cat, still telling you she’s here in the only way she can. Maybe she just needs a little extra patience, a soft spot to rest, and to know she’s still loved-just as she’s always loved you
My cat Bizzy was attacked in my home November 24, 2024 and I had no choice but to put her to sleep so she wouldn't suffer. Her lungs kept filling with air and the vet had to tap her lungs twice . So that means she couldn't breathe on her own. Who could have done such a thing my guy friend that was at my house says he didn't attack my cat but he was the only one at my house but he says someone came into my house and didn't realize he was there and crept back out. My door is locked with a fob system so really I feel I'm not secure in my house ultimately anyone can access the fob from a staff member and enter into my home Idk I just want my BIZZY BACK she came into my life at a time in my life when I really need care and concern

It is the other way around actually. Every cat ever comes to me for attention, even cats that are asocial/aggresive to other humans. Sad thing is that i love them as well but i am allergic so long term contact isn't doable for me. I am the cat lord :D

So I have have been waning in my care for cats. My own cat mitzy died after our 4 other cats passed away too and our house is truthfully such a mess I didn't want new cats. But in my dreams a black guy showed up and told me to get cats I told him no that I'm not doing it again and now we got two cats. Only then Do I think Bast showed up again or at least her children in the form of small big cats (a tiger and a leopard)

I had a Russian blue cat at one point in my past always thought the personality of the cat was odd for a cat...
However when I first had gotten it it was skidish but it to time to attach to me and out of all the cats I ever had it oddly seem to be a close connection

@@bastetpriestess the blue Russian cat did have a very unique personality to it for a cat and this yr 2024 I do recall seeing a holographic Astral representation of my cat I hadn't encountered in 4-5yrs so don't know what exactly that's that means and twice I've heard a voice say it Misses being my cat when I had been at a location I'm no longer at twice when I had seen a cat in a window neighbors window and once I saw a holographic looking representation of the blue Russian cat I once had
I'm fully aware of advance the tech is now days and how one can use it to invade ones mind if miss used and for Ill intent so I do stay on guard for such use just like I'm sure a lot of people who grew up in my era r that aren't religious

Any way to make sure it's not an imposter poseing as her their seems to have b3n cases where there have been some do that for others..

@@bastetpriestess I'm kinda curious of Bastet and Sehkmet of how people view people in terms how they interact with cats nowadays compared to their time their era if I ever saw a half human cat being I don't know what id thank outside of asking the question of how do they keep from feeling itchy and hot with the fuzz and hair certain parts more than others, I've got body hair and when it gets a certain length it gets itchy and bothersome as hell even though not nearly as much as their pictures.... I definitely don't want to change my name. Bastet feels very strongly that she wants more people to know about Her and how to connect with her worship.
Do you perhaps goddess won't be sending you messages if you lost her cat & didn't even looking for him? Because you know she is the goddess of cats & all. You say she is messaging you messages when your furry friend finally showed up your door again after you lost him & didn't even go look for him, don't you think the goddess of bast will find unforgivable & be super pissed? Sorry, not sure what you're saying. If your cat is missing, I recommend Next Door and Facebook. Be sure to post lots of pictures of your missing cat and offer a reward if you can afford it. Good luck. I hope your kitty comes home very soon.
