- Hi Guys!
I am back with another Fall themed video because well, I’ve fallen in love with Fall!
In this video, I’ll be showing you my go-to fall beauty look as well as share some yummy fall treats like, Homemade Chai Tea Latte and Pumpkin French Toast with Pumpkin Spice Butter!
BEAUTY PRODUCTS USED:
-Maybelline Master Precise All Day in Black
-Lorac Highly Pigmented Cream Lipstick in CEO
-Essie Nail Polish in In The Lobby
Recipes:
HOMEMADE CHAI TEA LATTE:
1 ½ c Water
1 C Almond Milk, unsweetened
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp ground cardamom
1/8 tsp or dash of ground cloves
2 tbs Maple Syrup for sweetening
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, except the maple syrup. Bring to a boil, take off the stovetop and then steep 2-3 bags of black tea of choice. THEN add maple syrup to sweeten. Makes about 2 servings. So share with a friend!
PUMPKIN FRENCH TOAST:
4 large eggs, beaten
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. pumpkin puree
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Pinch of Kosher salt
1 loaf brioche, sliced into 1"-thick slices
3 tbsp. butter of coconut oil
1 heaping tbsp. of flaxseed meal
PUMPKIN SPICE BUTTER:
4 tbsp. unsalted butter, slightly softened
2 tbsp. pumpkin puree
2 tbsp. maple syrup
1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Kosher salt
Maple syrup, for drizzling
DIRECTIONS:
In a shallow baking dish, whisk eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and a pinch of salt. Soak the bread slices for about 30 seconds each side, don’t oversoak! In a large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat, melt oil or butter. Cook 2 slices bread at a time until golden, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Repeat to cook all slices.
Make pumpkin butter: In a medium bowl, whip softened butter with pumpkin, maple syrup, pumpkin spice, and a pinch of salt until light and fluffy. I found that if you whip the butter first and then slowly add the other ingredients one by one, the butter whips better because everything gets incorporated better. You can also refrigerate the whipped butter for an hour if you overwhip.
Top French toast with pumpkin butter, drizzle with maple syrup. Enjoy!
