What size cable did you use? 2 AWG Based on your experience do you think a smaller size guage like 4 awg could work with the 35 mm connector option?
The smaller size guage that we recommend is 2 AWG and you can go up to 2/0 AWG.
The Surlok datasheet shows versions that take from 6mm² (AWG 10) up to 150mm² (AWG 4/0). So plenty of choice.
