    RESIN SAFETY
    Please use resin with care. Any health and safety questions should be asked directly to the company of the resin you use. Read your product safety data sheet (SDS) before using, always wear PPE- nitrile gloves, respirator and goggles or a full-face respirator. Do it in an open, ventilated area- separate to your living spaces. Long sleeved clothing is also advised. Do some research into using resin safely so you can be as well informed as possible to the possible health risks of using it incorrectly.

    I want to see someone making a purple crystal shard with Lightning L Drago inside so that it looks like the anime, and if not, then I’ll do it in the future

    Those JustResin pigments are amazing! Is the opalescent/white one also from them? I really love how the rocks came out in those colours.

    Love this! You make me want to get into resin but it’s so expensive!!

    • @mrzroc32

      Yes so I’ve learned!! It’s best to purchase resin by the gallon. I’ve gone through 4 32 oz. in a month. But I think cause I’m just learning

      It’s not “too” expensive if you can buy during sales and with coupons. It’s still kind of expensive but sales and coupons definitely help. AliExpress also has a lot of great molds.

      @@Dgootee I think I’m going to get into it after painting some projects. Im trying to get a lot done so that I can buy resin at the end of the year. I think I’m strongly looking to get into it next year :) thank you for the advice!

    This is such a gorgeous piece! ❤️ Can i ask you where you got the mold for those crystal pieces? All the ones I've seen have a different mold for each different crystal. Would prefer not to have to keep up with all those molds, just one is enough. Any info is greatly appreciated!

      Thank you so much 💖 i made the crystal molds myself (should be linked in the description). I may consider selling them as there seems to be a demand for them?

    So pretty!! What do you do with the bottom of the tray after you sand it? Do you put a top coat on?

    • @SeriouslyCreative
      @SeriouslyCreative  2 роки тому +1

      No i just leave it 😊 i usually just buff off the sharp edges and try not to scuff the bottom (i hope this makes sense) so there is no need for an extra coat

    No matter what I do to seal these, I can never get them to not leak. But I have been using the two pieces of resin. After coating the sides five times... Where do you get your plastic for them? (I'm going to go back and check your instruction comments, so if you have it listed, ignore the latter part) No matter what plastic I have tried, no better luck. So discouraged!!!

      Sometimes if the gap around the edge is covered by uv resin, the epoxy resin can't adhere properly. Watch the shaker video by Amy Made, its really helpful!
