This is a true treasure! Thank you so much!!!!!!
Glad you like it!
Magnificent, this documentary is gold to me.
Gold!
Thanks for sharing, this is special
Absolutely brilliant, thankyou very much for posting this. Much more detailed than anything I've come across before as I guess it was still pretty fresh in the memory only 25 years later.
I'm not a great reader of Mr Priestley's novels, but his theories on the nature of time are fascinating. He spent a great deal of effort in his later years studying time and his conclusions were astonishingly original for a man who described himself as having .
'not the slightest aptitude or understanding of science'. Brilliant and modest with it! always a winning combination.
Indeed and we're fortunate to have a such a literary luminary to etch out this unique memoir. #ourhistory
could you please put a link to such theories. would love to read. thank you!
I have been wanting to see this again for 30 years thank you for posting!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍☺
Wonderful upload, many thanks once again 👍.
For those interested in modern history this is an education
Brilliant, shame we didn’t hear this in 1940!
My God, my parents and family of that time were brave.
Does anyone know what that wonderfully evocative background music is at 1:23:30?
At 11:18
What is shown is the British (R.A.F.) response to the Wehrmact invading Poland to start W.W.2 in Europe. Those men are loading leaflets (a verbal warning after a declaration of war) which will be dropped from that airplane onto Germany while hazarding the lives of the crew.
The U.S.A. response from President Roosevelt was even worse: a public declaration of neutrality over international radio.
