difference to the videos. I have a number of videos in the works at the
moment from Indonesia and the Philippians. Most of the time, not an
issue flying. For this particular destination, it is highly restricted
and I was able to get special permission from the government.
I actually had a permit from the Indonesian Gov.

It's a big complex actually. Several building scattered around instead of centered. I think it used to be a palace n not temple. Anyway, when I was there some of the ruins hadn't been restored. It's my personal favorite (I can't speak for anyone else). Unlike Borobudur and Prambanan, Ratu Boko is doesn't have many tourist visit it. If Borobudur is awesome in Sunrise, Prambanan is wonderful during the night, there's something magical about Ratu Boko during sunset. Google it up. You'll see what I mean.

It was built with the intention to be seen from very high above...I can imagine lord Shiva,Intra or Vishnu saying from their Spacecraft : ''Oh look,there is my temple,let's land there and see how my folks are doing''...Sounds funny but the temple is really huge and easily recognisable
