You totally shouldn’t have explained the save file thing at 2:15 you should’ve just said I am Olexa and left our minds blown that the game knew who you were.
He followed a kinda weak “that’s what she said” joke with “but I do t know what to do with it “. Now that’s comedy gold.
briefly explaining pound -> atom.
You apply blue middle to Pound, adding letters to create Compound.
you then apply red bottom to Compound. A part of a Compound is an Atom.
When multiple boxes are oriented like that, you apply the rules front to back, applying each rule to the next word in the sequence.
Nice. That makes a lot of sense.
theres a lot of different ways to make chains, vanilla LL1 uses those white pillars to allow changes to height while keeping the input text the same (white middle’s job) but custom levels like to use small white pipes so it looks less jank
i think Olexa knows that already because of the funny chain in the challenge room but w/e
If you're interested to know, graphite and diamond are both made of pure carbon, just with the atoms arranged differently.
My inner OCD went "second hydrogen in water when"
same, i outloud said "thank f-" he was tunnel vision on that sugar didnt see it it wasnt even peripheral vison
Tyler I want to know what kind of sugar you're using that's made from HELIUM
It‘s the stuff they’re using for all the ”light” products nowadays
I wonder how they got a noble gas to bond with the organic chemistry and what that would cause the sugar to taste like
The kind that gives you a sugar high.
And helium no less! This is groundbreaking
“Hi Hi”-lingo, every day
A tree with lungs sounds terrifying
A lung exchanges CO2 and O2, that's pretty much all a tree does, in leaves, the rest is just structural support for the leaves and transport for water and sugar. So a tree is a very big lung.
@@Soken50 That's pretty much all a human does as well. So a human is a very big lung :^)
@@buttonasas No, a human's primary purpose is satisfying material desires through planetary scale environmental destruction, breathing is only accessory to achieving that.
Trees just sit there, breathing, while we're out and about, actively making the world a worse place.
@@Soken50 I thought you were joking. Have you... seen a tree?
@@buttonasas No, I haven't, they've all been cut down for more urban sprawl as far as the eye can see.
ive been getting the feeling that this game has been frying olexa's brain with each continuing episode haha
Edit:
i think replacing "is in" with "contains" is much better for the bottom reds
"a feather is in a bird" is just a weird thoughtprocess
not just that, i've been noticing not just here but also elsewhere with other people that if you start a sentence (like Olexa does when thinking) you almost only think of words that fit that sentence.
Fitting in that sentence means that it fits not only the context but also the grammar, which i think is why Olexa took so long to figure out RESULTS.
Thus you need to be careful how you word what you're searching for
Hey now don't be messing with the Olexa think process, a think is in Olexa, let him cook bro
BABA is SCRAMBLE
my chemist heart sunk when Olexa said a bunch of elements but didn't said oxygen for something that makes sugar
this episode is painful indeed
The door in Room Room should be open now. You might wanna check that out
let him figure it out on his own :(
@@roninnozlo9544 He most likely was never gonna look there again
Spoiler
Pound > Atom
Blue middle = add letters (compound)
Red bottom = part of it (several atoms make up a compound)
Forest > Chemistry
Red bottom = part of it (tree)
Blue top = add sounds (chemistry)
Graphite is made of Carbon
I really enjoyed that science room even though the yellow boxes are my weakness, even after I realized kind of what was going on with the yellow boxes still took me so damn long.
same lol. how the HECK did he get most of them within seconds
for the Arcadian the blocks are in Top Green
it was Middle Green that was thought to be in the environment from Level 1 but yes it's not that big a deal to choose to not do it at the time when you were overwhelmed
I'm so glad you plan to systematically complete the game!
I feared that the series might be over by the time I caught up.
The careless mistake during CARELESS was delightfully ironic
It is always amazing and delightful and tremendously satisfying when you're rooting for Tyler on a zinger that's got him tripped up, especially if he's so close to getting it, and then the 💡 goes off. Bravo! 🎉
Bring on more pain! I enjoy the thought process and struggle. I'm also surprised but happy to see you polishing off level 1 content while still getting red and blue reversed every time you find them. 😂
this is like watching a game show and you get hype when you get it but they dont good stuff fun without having to feel bad when i dont get it
33:12 we got him bois
Red-bottom forest breaks down into tree(s). Blue-top then adds sounds: Chemis-tree = chemistry.
Blue-middle adds letters to pound: Compound. Red-bottom breaks compound up into atom(s).
BLUE MID means add letters to "pound" which becomes "compound"
Then RED BOTTOM means something inside of the literal "compound" which is an "atom"
0:04 Big Brain Olexa is horrifying I love him
When doing red and blue bottom its easy to get them confused when you think "blank is in blank". I struggled at first with this then i changed my approach:
Blue is add. Red is remove.
Wall bottom blue-> add stuff to wall to get castle
Hand bottom red -> remove stuff from hand to get thumb
Think of it like an action or an operation rather than trying to complete a sentence. Helped me immensely
I'm amazed how many people have the patience for this 😂
Lmao im hooked, ive spent the last 4 days watching all the vids, i know this one is 10 hours old but i need more! I wanna know everything!! Lol
Nice to see you trying your best to finish level one before moveing to level two
I almost lost hope ,but since you uploaded this I will watch it at 1:25 AM!! Go Lingo 😊
Graphite is mostly carbon and you can make it into a diamond, better than coal because it is more pure.
If he didn't get the acronym puzzle at the end I was gonna comment a Destiny reference. "Tell Paladin Oran: These Hidden Exits Silenced Tonight Reappear Under Careless Truths Unearthed Reading Endless Danger." It would've melted his brain more having to look it up
Nice video, as always. Good luck with the rest of level two!❤
Graphite to Diamond feels like a astroneer reference since you nead to fuze 2 graphite to get a Diamond in that game
wow I'm surprised i solved the structured so incredibly fast hell yeah
"T"hese "H"idden "E"xits gave it away for me, I was like like "Wait! The start off these words make "THE", surely the rest make something too right ?"
You don't need it, but you can write the smiley face with @ (it's part of the font)
Me, a physics teacher, also not getting sugar at all.
Edit: I think the atom was the following. Since it goes from front to back. First you take a letter from atom and make 'o', then the 'o' is oxygen and it makes an atom, since an atom is inside oxygen.
But I could be completely wrong.
Actually, the thought process is: middle blue (add letters to) pound -> compound, bottom red (physically part of) compound -> atom
Tyler keeps doing red backwards, and a couple other colors too which makes this mildly infuriating but nonetheless fun to watch😂
as a science teacher..... i think this episode is about to make me yell at the screen
Excited to see areas that teach new rules!
It's fun to watch you playing Lingo no matter what!
5:54 In the comments of "The biggest discovery yet" @kittykatalina made a better version of your notes and I am constantly consulting them. I advise you to compare your spreadsheet to that comment. :)
33:26 I am embarrassed to say that I brute forced this section before figuring out how the grid worked. >.< I solved the ones I could guess, figured out what letters matched what numbers and then gradually used that info to solve more and figure out more letter/numbers. I solved almost all of them when I suddenly realized how the grid worked.
42:24 Just a hint: this room is day. When you go through the house it becomes night.
As an organic chemist, loved this ep 😤
I screamed more at this video than at any trill ride or horror movie
Hell we did good in this video so that’s rough
@@OlexaYT it's just my special way of having a great time with a great video
He's doing it. Level 2. Pog
Man I thought exhausted was extracted
thank u for showing the spreadsheet anyway ♥
First letters of answers
they really dropped like 10 puzzles that require you to look up and think for each one
YAY more lingo!!! :D
11:07 This works because
POUND -> COMPOUND -> ATOM
everyone hates the GRAPHITE puzzle don’t worry
PLEASE GIVE A BIG HEADS UP BEFORE THE STREAM! it'll be the event of the summer!
Looking back on older episodes of level 1 I think bottom green refers to pictures in the environments rather than words in the environment tho that’s just a guess
Yep! You're good on level 1 for now. The only reason to go back would be if you want to return to The Library, but I'd honestly recommend sticking around Level 2 until you start running out of things to do there. And that shouldn't happen for a while!
the library is brutal. i struggled with more than half of them even with google on my side
@@codesymphony It really depends. I had a pretty decent time in The Library. Most of the words were ones I already knew. I think there were 10 I struggled with? And about 4 that were an issue.
Vocab is so important.
Let me tell you something that will make your life easier on Lingo:
Color rules and height rules are SEPARATE. You don't need a ridiculous spreadsheet to remember each and every color+height combo. You only need to remember individual rules corresponding to color and height.
Top = sound/syllable
Middle = word/letter/glyph
Bottom = meaning/concept/idea
White = same
Black = opposite/backwards
Red = remove/smaller/narrower
Blue = add/bigger/broader
Yellow = rearrange/mix/scramble
Green = environmental
Gray = the thing
Brown = future/futuristic
Orange = cipher
Purple = lol whatever i want
Mint = [redacted]
Lavender = surrounds
Magenta = [redacted]
Lime = [redacted]
Beige = [REDACTED]
The lab actually made me feel smart in lingo
I knew my degree would be used for something one day
TIL mammals have hair
@@codesymphony huge if true
Yo, I really like this one
I could be wrong but that purple wall in the blue sections across from the seven, could you put in "ten" since it's does rhyme with "seven"
Love to see it
Top puzzles Do something with the sound
Middle puzzles Do something with the word and letters
Bottom puzzles Do something with the concept
e.g White -> equal
White top -> equal sound
White middle -> equal word / letters
White Bottom -> equal concept
this goes for all colors so blue would be add
and red subtract etc.
The way I decribe red and blue is that with red the anwser is part of the question and blue the question is part of the answer
Time for big wall???
(Purple) Engineering composite
Spoilers:
On 24:25 , there is still one more thing to do there:)
More spoilers:
There is another secret door in the walls;)
Maybe this will be helpful if u ever decided to 100% level 1 :D
oh shit new video
Is the purple wall next to the numbers hall just TEN?
Try the first thing that comes to mind when you see a giant letter
Seems like the answers is "the structured" :) EDIT: you gooooot it
Michael Jackson?
For the purple wall, could it be...
seven -> eleven?
We’ve tried it
@@OlexaYT Have we tried ten?
what about 9
@@codesymphony there nothing behind the purple wall. Sorry its not a puzzle.
maybe 8?
Lingo 🎉🎉
Don’t feel bad about the diamond one. That one was really poorly done. Mixing up graphite doesn’t get you diamonds, compressing carbon does.
Mixing up the atoms
It does make sense, since both are made from carbon, just arranged differently
@@bbittercoffee diamond can be gotten from rearranging graphite, yeah but yellow bottom has heavily leaned towards *scrambling* rather than *sorting*. i would have accepted diamond->graphite but graphite->diamond is imposing a specific crystalline structure and it really doesnt vibe with the, like, fish->chum or whatever it was
I'm almost positive you missed a puzzle around the base of one of the trees from through the yellow area in level 1
Acorn? We did that
@@OlexaYT There was one that said acorn and one that said oak, forget which is which but one is in plain sight and the other is around the back side of one of the left trees
WE'RE SO BACK
leegnghoh!!! *dyes*
Isnt graphite have somehting like derrium or am i thinking wrong(i may have mistyped it since i dont remember how its spelt)
Did you ever hear of cogmind
one thing about level 2 is you better have a rock solid understanding of how the puzzles work.
What do the colors mean.
What do the heights mean.
If not your going to have a really bad time.
I’ll be honest I have found level 2 way easier than level 1 so far lol
I don't think you are right with "in" on bottom red.

Can you play Gladiator Guild Manager, please?
“I never looked at the ones over here.”
Bro. You said “expediency” out loud that episode. You saw it. I was shocked it didn’t register.
Anyway, I hope we’re back to the regular time Structure for these episodes. I Earnestly await them; they’re so fun.
Uh....I don’t know how to fit Arcadian in here. Just pretend I did.
HI
Yeah top green was not a goodchoice, for say.
Try going counterclockwise around the lab pillar with the numbers, you only went clockwise around it. (Unless you go back later in the episode and I'm not there yet)
Bros youtube name is my last name lol
Brother?
Hi (bruh)
İn the room that has red Blue yelow you can write the colors
At least a dozen episodes in, and you *still* refuse to interact with the 'dot-rooms' at all. It's getting silly by this point.
I’ve interacted with them many many times, it’s just that only the single . room does anything right now, I don’t know where they all are, and it just seems tedious to find them and do that whole path. So I just dont
It's just annoying to do, it'd basically take an entire episode to route the path
He literally said he would maybe do it on a stream because it seems tedious to do
And it is
