A really nice way to stack fractional is the Dutch gold ducat. Minted since 1586, it weighs 3,49 grams (983/1000 purity) or 3,434 pure gold (0,11 Oz AGW). A nice feature is also the fact that they perfectly fit the A22 airtite capsule and are therefore perfect for tube stacking. 10 ducats equal just over an ounce of gold. And the premiums on ducats are still low at the moment. 👍🏻

The Britannia is BY FAR my favorite. Not into gold bars, but I ONLY buy Platinum in bar form in assay cards. Its the only metal I do in assay, and thats partially so my kids dont mix them up with the silver generic bars should I die before I can cash them out to spend on hookers and blow. I feel like I should be stacking more pre-33 double eagles, but I hate the premium. The 50 Peso coin is also super-chonky. I'm going to hit up Andy at Miles Franklin tomorrow to se if he has any deals on Double Eagles.
My LCS said he wouldn’t pay “spot” for my 1 oz gold coins If i ever sold. Said he’d buy under $150 or less spot. Guess I’ll find a new local coin dealer
Various options I think you should consider: - Roosters - 20 Francs with a chicken flavor - French Gold coins with birds on them - Nice european gold coin with galinaceas on them can also be considered. I hope this helps.
Royal Mint has released a new Robin Hood series. I think there's only 3 coins (Robin Hood/Maid Marion/Little John). Could be an option if the price is right to go alongside the Britannia. I can't just be getting Kangaroos all the time, even though they change the design every year as it gets a little dull. Not sure about the new font on the 2022 Kangaroo but i'll still buy them. Anyway I tend to mix it up a little with Swans, Dragons, Emus, Pixiu, Golden Eagle, etc... Yep we have an eagle
Perth Mint does a better job than the Royal Mint on series in my opinion, but the RM nailed it with the Queen's Beasts series. We'll see how they do with the Tudors Beasts. Cheers!
Another advantage of coins over bars (in my opinion), is that bars need some sort of certificate and serial number for authenticity. However, an actual coin, backed by an issuing country, basically has its authenticity certified by its design. Not counting simple "rounds", a coin IS the "certificate". Also, harder to counterfeit a coin versus a certificate or card.
Exactly to many good options! My main focus is and has been Buffalos, AGE's 1 oz and 1/4 oz, followed by Maples. I do have the random Krug and Britannia as well. I do like the premiums of the Brits the best!
Buffaloes are definitely my number one choice based on rugged looks and 24k, closely followed by AGEs of various sizes. My third choice are Canadian Call of the Wild coins. They are very nice and look cool. Best wishes to all!
1oz eagles sorry. They are under 5% over spot at silver gold bull right now. There's always a deal on them somewhere. Many fractional and proof options if you can catch a deal.
I’d like to hear more about your vault and the process of getting that set up. Maybe info about monthly or yearly fees associated. Are you worried that there would be a chance you could not get to your coins. ie; power outages, bank closure, or other very bad scenarios?
If we got to that, we’d be in full cowboy mode. I have other things for that kind of world! 😅 I got your point on the vault info, though. I’ll work on something. Cheers!
@@2is1gold When you do your vault video I, and I am sure others, would be grateful if you would touch on: (1) how to recognise/do due diligence to ensure a reputable/reliable service provider, and (2) out-of-country vaulting services (offering vaults in different countries, shipment between their vaults, shipment to you, the customer, wherever you move to). Geographical and political diversification (not only in PM) seem to be coming increasingly desirable.
I had the same struggles you have. I don’t like AGEs much because if I’m spending that much fiat I would rather get 24k. But with the crazy premiums of Buffalos I switched to Canadian maples 🍁 because I think 1. That would be the next popular coin in the US, 2. The premiums are lower, 3. The purity, 4. You can get some premium back when you sell them, 5. Like you said l, it won’t trigger 1099 unless you sell 25, so that’s quite a high number, and 6. I quite like the maple leaf! Good video!
It's a challenging conundrum. Have you thought of moving down to the 1/2 oz. option and doing a "fill-the-tubes-race" between the Britannia and the Maple based on which coin has the lower monthly premium?
Ive picked up a few of the 1/4 Britannia’s. I really think those are the best looking. I think I will work on a tube of those. They are usually the best deals out there and I think if you did the math and compared what you could sell them for, you would lose the least so that would put them overall the best right now. Only until the AGE premiums come down. I don’t think you can go wrong with the maples either, but that Queen is the worst image of all the Queen profiles in my opinion.
I think a good out of the box coin to stack would be the 1oz Gold Lunar Tiger from the Perth Mint (2022). - It’s from a highly recognised mint and it’s government backed by one of the most stable economies on Earth - it’s a cool, kick ass design - low premium in the US I’m lead to believe (I’m from Australia 🇦🇺) - dragons and tigers are the two most popular lunar animal designs for coin collectors and non-collectors. Everyone wants a Tiger, not many want a mouse or a rat or a rabbit etc. - it also carries a future collector premium so you could potentially ratchet up your profits slightly when it comes to sell. - Did I mention that Tigers are bloody cool! 😎
Thanks to the pandemic and having nothing to spend for, I got my only full ounce coin. Then just kept adding some silver and fractional gold every 2 months or so, now less and less, but I am still happy for what I have, and now it is much easier to make myself add a bit here and there :)
In my humble opinion if you're considering any bar I'd have to say the 1oz RCM Gold bar. It's made by a Sovereign country and it has security features as well. At least one 🧐
You didn't mention the 1/10th OZ American Gold Eagle. These can be stacked in a tube and are an ideal size for barter if ever needed. And you can collect them twice as fast as the 1/4 OZ Eagle. Yes, they're a little small but I like them.
I love the tenth Oz Eagles. Got them on sale, (I’m well known there as a buyer) from my LCS. I’m so glad I did and may buy more if the "sale" goes back on. Seriously beautiful. Would like all the "fractional" even better if each size had different and beautiful designs. Remember real silver "fractional" (dimes, quarters etc) would be nice instead of constantly same design.
For me it's pretty easy. When I buy bullion from outside the US it's mostly a Maple leaf. The numbers don't lie and the buy sell spread is the slimmest for them. I like the Britannia's too (and I own one) but for me I get a little less back when I resell them. I decided that I'm ok with keeping my sales under 25 ounces of Maples a year or just taking the paperwork hit if I have to sell more. Thanks and good luck with your choice!
My next gold purchase is a 2022 gold 1 oz. Though you've got me thinking one of these years I might just do a quart once challenge where I pick up 1 ever month I don't think I'll do it any time soon cause I like stocks more and have a good basis with silver and gold. But I like that you gave me the idea of 1 quarter once gold coin every month for a year = 3 oz of gold.
Also, I just bought a 10oz Fortuna bar... it's incredibly beautiful. It's by far my favorite thing. Since I have no intention of ever selling, I'm not worried about the testing process. Eventually gold will be so expensive and rare, that people will be begging us for these metals anyway.
Krugerrand, Maples, Brittanias, Philharmonics, Kangaroos, Eagles/Buffaloes, 10 oz each. That was/is my stacking goal. Eagles and Buffaloes I count together due to their high premiums, here in Europe. I’m short of two oz Kangaroos and three oz Brittanias. Once those are completed, I’ll make a new plan. Thanks for the vid!
I am at the same place. I'm thinking about alternating between an American coin every other month and a 9999 coin the opposite months. I'm still building cash right now. I need to buy 1.5 oz to complete my annual goal of one oz a month.
Moving a tube of 1 oz oro coins for cash will be challenging no matter how nice your coins are. Results will vary though depending on where you live and the market you are selling into. I will not wish to leave any sort of paper trail when I sell. I need cash on the barrel head for my oro. Dealing in cash-outside of the banking system is one of the main reasons I own yellow metal.
I get what you’re saying. It’s hard to know where we’re going. I’ve moved several tubes of Eagles in the past with no trouble whatsoever, though. The local shops have said they’ve done the same with Krugs and Maples, but will do it without hesitation for Eagles (and presumably Buffalos). Again, it’s hard to say what the case will be in the future. Hope you’re doing well. ✊
@@2is1gold Thanx for the well wishes. I am in prepping mode, not stacking mode. Prices are skyrocketing so its time to make sure everything is in order. 2022 will be a tumultuous year. I hope your house in order and the family is well.
@@glenh4971 - It’s getting ever harder not to leave a paper trail. The banks round my way get stroppy when you want to take more than a few hundred out in cash. “Why would you even want to do that?” I got asked last week.
I actually haven't purchased any gold due to work but might be a blessing ....but keeping the powder dry or just go to Vegas and have a little bit of fun. Might go back to my currency collection
When you purchase your coins, do you buy current year, random year, secondary market, or which ever is the lowest cost? Also, I really like PM Bars but your swaying me on future purchases with gold. I think with silver the 10oz bar is always the best way to go but gold maybe a different story. And finally, I didn't think any dealer would ever pay spot for any PM. It's good to know it's possible.
I don't care about year at all on Buffalos. I do care on coins where there's a feature change like Maples and Britannias, and I prefer the Type 2 Eagles. 👍
Love the Britt, just got my first two, Such a beautiful coin! It's my new goal behind my 5 9's Call of the Wild series from the RCM. Really looking forward to a tube of these over time.
My choice is the eagles now but iam storing mostly green backs just in case it takes a big dip i think used vehicles is a great asset brought 2 last week for future trades great video my friend wonderful source of information
It's interesting how you like the radial lines. I'm so new to this there when I see the old design on the Maple Leafs I think wow that's cool! I guess I prefer things with a little more history as well.
Enjoyed the video, the mint will never make fractional gold buffaloes as you mentioned in a earlier video might overtake the Gold Eagle, regarding reporting the Maple over 25 ounces, if that law regarding the reporting to the IRS anything over $600.00 goes into effect that will be for all coins/transactions. Talk about a kick in the ass.
I have no idea why but something about those dos pesos I really like. Unfortunately liquidity issues are a major hurdle and prevent me from really thinking about purchasing any however.
Love the idea of bars, but the non-uniform shape of the assay cards is a no-go for me. Most retail packaging seems like a lopsided nightmare to physically stack/store. Maybe an assayed square Geiger bar could work for me.
you have plenty of liquid gold 1 oz coins now. Why not go with something a little bigger like the 50gram pamp bars for example cheaper than the standard 1 oz bar. Bring your cost down quickly or you can go wth RCM 1 oz bars all in assays and serialized as well very safe and recognizable.
I love stacking, (usually one Oz) the tenth Oz gold Eagles. If I can get them on sale, (I’m well known there as a buyer) from my LCS. I’m so glad I did and may buy more if the "sale" goes back on. Seriously beautiful. Would like all the "fractional" even better if each size had different and beautiful designs. Remember real and different designs like on, (junk) silver "fractional" (dimes, quarters etc) would be nice instead of constantly same design. PS The Gold Maple Leafs are amongst the most "stunningly beautiful” coins I’ve ever seen.
I'm with you on CMLs being stunning, and would also love to see different designs at different sizes. The Mint isn't very creative, unfortunately. Cheers!
britannia is the way i'd go, think i said that before, but maybe cycling through the options will keep your interest going. kinda like shuffling cards to see what you get. kinda exciting. :)
At 70 y/o, I arrived late to the gold party. Have silver, collected it for years, have woo woo of it in my safes. But 2 is 1 helped accelerate my purchasing of gold. I love diversity in my gold portfolio - it's the 'collector' in me - not a 'stacker'. In my humble opinion, the premiums I'm paying on 1/4 ouncers, and fractional 5-10 gram bars, will evaporate if the dollar, the economy, inflation, and goodness knows, all the other factors that will hit our wallets and $ savings, send gold up, up, up. Set it (buy it) and forget it.
I have a couple of Buffaloes, Maples and Britannia - but I'm far from reaching the full tube for any of those. I personally much prefer the aesthetics of Buffalo above any other coins, my second option is definitely Maples. Britannia are nice, but there's something about it that doesn't make me want to stack more than the 2 I already have. Not sure what it is, though... 22kt coins are a no-go for me (I don't live in the US).
Very good video. I really value and appreciate the info you give out about purchasing gold. You hit all the points and tell it like it is without the BS. You just make a lot of sense! Due to my monthly financial means I really can only afford the fractional gold coins. The tenth oz is ok for me but I like saving for the quarter oz size. I really wish they would bring back the fractional buffaloes. Also I strongly agree with you on an update redesign for the obverse on the eagles.
Just got my 29th & 30th Britannia for 3.5% over spot. The 2021 version is the best yet. Unfortunately the Buffalo premium is so high where I am it makes no sense. I think whatever the lowest premium 24k coin in your region is the best coin. If price doesn’t matter to you then that is a difficult choice as there are some gorgeous coins out there.
Liquidity matters most of all to me, so there are 2 great options, and then 5 good options there. Price is then the variable. Britannias at 3.5% are hard to overlook!
@@2is1gold yeah got lucky. My Dealer had a flash sale of 2021 Brits to make way for the 2022 ones arriving this week. Wish I could of grabbed more but I’m way over budget this month now 😂
Though my main coins are Eagles and Buffalos, I tend to get the CML’s when I just wanna add an ounce to the stack at low premiums. I like the Britannia’s too but only own a few.
I decided on some krugs, but when I got down to the shop yesterday he had six 1/10 maples & five 1/10 eagle so asked about price expecting something crazy, he said $190 a piece! I thought that was pretty great compared to apmex so I grabbed the lot. No dull brown krugs to add to the no emotional attachment pile, I just couldn’t pass up on the price. I don’t get how apmex is getting away with charging $270 for a tenth oz-
Hi there, great videos. One month ago I bought my first ounce, but I’m thinking that i want to buy regularly 1/4 ounces, based in Europe what would be the best option? Britannias? Krugers? I really don’t like the philharmonic. I was thinking to buy monthly 1/4 ounces and once in a while get some interesting coin like the lunar series or similar. What do you think about that, would it be a semi-numismatic value of it if they are not proof? Thanks a lot for your videos
Also worth considering in Europe, depending on where you are exactly, are 19th/early 20th century coins. They’re much smaller and so more easily disposable, widely available and have small premiums depending where you are. I’m thinking of 20 Franc, 10 Mark and Sovereigns.
Thanks guys, i’ll think about that, my only concern is how you said, if by selling in emergency you have problems disposing of it. Like “no thanks I don’t want so many britannias” or so many francs
Buffalo monster box or bust. 1/2 oz lady fortuna is a good size and sometimes available cheap. Think of all You'll save on capsules! I am small time but go with the variety is the spice of life method
How about a five 9's RCM coin, like the call of the wild series? The elk, the bobcat, wolf, bear, etc are all beautiful coins. And the swagger of a 99.999% fine gold coin is tough to deny.
I bought a bar a couple years ago around 1450 and sold it last year, getting back in the game and getting my first coin tomorrow! P.S anyone have any strong opinions on Austrian philharmonics? Love my silver one
When I first seriously began stacking 18 months ago, I had more of a "what if SHTF" mentality and so started out with fractional bars (5 grs), combi bars (Valcambi), RCM 5 x 1/10 oz packs. I didn't want to barter for a gallon a gas holding only a $2,000 Eagle. Since getting that out of my system I'm now sticking with 1oz and 1/4 oz Eagles, 1oz, 1/4 oz and 1/10 oz Maples, although recently I couldn't resist a gold Queens Beast. Glad to see you dipping your toe into the Maple waters...however I did sell 3 1oz Maples just a couple of months ago and could get only $10 below spot for them...I did purchase a couple rolls of silver Britannias and they're beautiful. BTW...do you try and stick with BU coins or are you not put off by "lightly used" offerings?
Most of my coins purchased up to the shop closures in March 2020 were purchased at local shops, so 9 out of 10 were secondhand. Some of them had slight marks. I also tended to buy random year when I bought online, but with the recent demand, those deals kind of dried up. So, I’m mostly buying BU lately. Cheers!
I have a 1oz krug, brit, buffalo, maple, AE type 1, and AE Type 2. I was curious and called apmex to see what they offered, they offered me spot for all of them, guess they don’t care what you have.
Funny I just watched this after pulling the trigger on a Double Pixiu, which I have admired for a while now. Not sure I’ll be able to complete the series though after hearing how hard it was to find the Phoenix @2is1

I have to say, I was super impressed with the aesthetics of the Phil, and holding it felt amazing with that large diameter. But the damn design gets me. I just don’t like it much. :( I bought my first ounce of gold, an APMEX bar. The shipment took a while (Not their fault) and I had to pick it up at a UPS store in the end. The quality leaves something to be desired. I can't tell if it's just the plastic case it came in, but it looks like there's a tiny bubble and maybe a few scratches.
Yeah, that color thing makes a real difference to me, too, as it should! If I am to invest in gold, I want it to look like gold and certainly not like the common copper penny. What's more, I want it to be pure gold and certainly not some watered down version like the eagle. It's not as if the eagle's going to be exposed to serious wear and tear as are the common coins of the land in day-to-day commerce. And even those coins are on the brink of extinction as alternative means of payment become widely accepted. There's just no compelling need to "harden" the coin and, in the process, lessen the purity.
Do you keep cash as an emergency fund or gold instead? Do you keep a large cash position or fully invested, keeping gold as an option for a liquidity event?
@@2is1gold "I have cash savings as my first line of defense." Smart man.
Yeah. I like the idea of bars at 10 oz size, but that's a bit outside my typical buying range. 😄
Those Buffaloes have been a great deal this year... at certain times.
Love the damn buffalos 🦬
Yeah, wide spectrum on premium. I was able to find 6% or better on each I picked up, though.
Exactly to many good options! My main focus is and has been Buffalos, AGE's 1 oz and 1/4 oz, followed by Maples. I do have the random Krug and Britannia as well. I do like the premiums of the Brits the best!
Sounds familiar. I think similarly. Cheers!
Buffaloes are definitely my number one choice based on rugged looks and 24k, closely followed by AGEs of various sizes. My third choice are Canadian Call of the Wild coins. They are very nice and look cool. Best wishes to all!
Thanks, Michael!
1oz eagles sorry. They are under 5% over spot at silver gold bull right now. There's always a deal on them somewhere. Many fractional and proof options if you can catch a deal.
Yep. You just have to search!
Been doing 1 Maple Leaf for every 2 Britannia's. Both have been similar in price but I like the Brit's face a lot better, 2021's are gorgeous.
That makes sense!
I got your point on the vault info, though. I’ll work on something. Cheers!
@@2is1gold When you do your vault video I, and I am sure others, would be grateful if you would touch on:
(1) how to recognise/do due diligence to ensure a reputable/reliable service provider, and
(2) out-of-country vaulting services (offering vaults in different countries, shipment between their vaults, shipment to you, the customer, wherever you move to).
Good video!
The 2021 Britannia has become popular amongst my friends
I'm guessing I'll be buying at least a few more CMLs. Just a great, overall option. Cheers!
Surely purity is irrelevant? Unless you have so much of the stuff you have trouble carrying it all...
It's a challenging conundrum. Have you thought of moving down to the 1/2 oz. option and doing a "fill-the-tubes-race" between the Britannia and the Maple based on which coin has the lower monthly premium?
I've kicked it around. I like the 1 oz premiums, though.
I’m watching this video and I’m thinking about how truly blessed we are to be able to stack gold and silver.
100%
Ive picked up a few of the 1/4 Britannia’s. I really think those are the best looking. I think I will work on a tube of those. They are usually the best deals out there and I think if you did the math and compared what you could sell them for, you would lose the least so that would put them overall the best right now. Only until the AGE premiums come down. I don’t think you can go wrong with the maples either, but that Queen is the worst image of all the Queen profiles in my opinion.
Ha, it all comes down to the Queen. 😄 I’m with you on the spread.
I bought Britannias. The new Britannia 2022 is released in a few days. I'm looking forward to owning some of those too. A beautiful looking coin.
Yes, it is!
What is the new security features in the new Eagles coin ?
A missing reed on the edge. Basically nothing.
I think a good out of the box coin to stack would be the 1oz Gold Lunar Tiger from the Perth Mint (2022).
- It’s from a highly recognised mint and it’s government backed by one of the most stable economies on Earth
- it’s a cool, kick ass design
- low premium in the US I’m lead to believe (I’m from Australia 🇦🇺)
- dragons and tigers are the two most popular lunar animal designs for coin collectors and non-collectors. Everyone wants a Tiger, not many want a mouse or a rat or a rabbit etc.
- it also carries a future collector premium so you could potentially ratchet up your profits slightly when it comes to sell.
- Did I mention that Tigers are bloody cool! 😎
Ha, all true. But they'll be hard to get next year!
You can't beat the Perth Mint Lunar Coins, especially those Tigers in Gold and Platinum. Though I don't mind the Canadian Maple's...
Britannia’s or Buffalos!!
24ct is the only way to go.
✊
Thanks to the pandemic and having nothing to spend for, I got my only full ounce coin. Then just kept adding some silver and fractional gold every 2 months or so, now less and less, but I am still happy for what I have, and now it is much easier to make myself add a bit here and there :)
That's great!
In my humble opinion if you're considering any bar I'd have to say the 1oz RCM Gold bar.
It's made by a Sovereign country and it has security features as well.
At least one 🧐
Makes sense.
I do like the RCM 10 oz silver bars...
You didn't mention the 1/10th OZ American Gold Eagle. These can be stacked in a tube and are an ideal size for barter if ever needed. And you can collect them twice as fast as the 1/4 OZ Eagle. Yes, they're a little small but I like them.
They just have a high premium.
You know what bugs me about the Maple Leaf? Yep, the diameter of the coin. I am Jack’s medulla oblongata. 😄
It’s a good price point.
Also, I just bought a 10oz Fortuna bar... it's incredibly beautiful. It's by far my favorite thing. Since I have no intention of ever selling, I'm not worried about the testing process. Eventually gold will be so expensive and rare, that people will be begging us for these metals anyway.
I like Fortuna bars at the 10 oz size.
Your thoughts on small bars? 5 and 10 gram stacking like baseball cards or wait, save and buy quarter ounce or larger ?
I like 1/4oz a lot. Grams get expensive.
I have a hard time buying Eagles over buffaloes. I find the buffaloes to be substantially prettier coin.
I do too. ✊
Make a tube of Viena Philharmonic. Nice Coin, low premium..
I can't jam them into a 32mm capsule, though! 😅
@@2is1gold Buy a tube that can accommodate capsules for Philarmonics
Great video, thanks. BTW - love the Holme & Hadfield in black
Fun case. Looks a little better than a locked up pelican! 🤩
I love them all but Brittania has been my favorite for a while....the design is just gorgeous!
It’s definitely a great looking coin!
The 10 oz idea is where I'm at right now. I might just bring a few to 5 oz. Then to 10 oz. Cheers!
I am at the same place. I'm thinking about alternating between an American coin every other month and a 9999 coin the opposite months. I'm still building cash right now. I need to buy 1.5 oz to complete my annual goal of one oz a month.
That seems like a good idea. I think I'll be alternating one way or another. Cheers!
I just bought a Britannia. $1866 on Ebay Liberty. Not bad.
Hey bro have you considered buying the 24k grain shot as a stacking option, love your videos
I haven’t. You know what I’d do with gold shot? Probably spill it. 😄
Love your videos, keep them coming!
Thanks!

A currency collection isn’t a bad idea. 😄
find one of the gold rwandan ship series. did you get any gold geigers? i know they are collectors.
I don't have any Geigers. I have a Silver Geiger, I guess. 😄
Great video once again....thank you.
Thanks!
What is the advantage of stacking the AGE 1/4 oz over the AGE 1/2 oz?
There isn't one. ~ $500 is just a price point buy.
I looked at the premiums and I like the size of the 1/2 over the 1/4. When I can, I get a full oz but otherwise working on the 1/2 oz tube.
They really are nice. The detail is unlike any other gold coin.
My choice is the eagles now but iam storing mostly green backs just in case it takes a big dip i think used vehicles is a great asset brought 2 last week for future trades great video my friend wonderful source of information
Thanks!
It's interesting how you like the radial lines. I'm so new to this there when I see the old design on the Maple Leafs I think wow that's cool! I guess I prefer things with a little more history as well.
They shine more. There’s not much more than that. The older coins are great too. ✊
It goes into effect in January. That's for cash apps like Venmo, though.
Excellent video. Gorgeous 😍 Coins 🪙
Thanks! 👋
My answer has always been stack what you like, but then that does work well with my exit plan.
Yeah, I know from past experience that you can make it hard on the future you. 😄
I have no idea why but something about those dos pesos I really like. Unfortunately liquidity issues are a major hurdle and prevent me from really thinking about purchasing any however.
Mexican gold is all cool!
Love the idea of bars, but the non-uniform shape of the assay cards is a no-go for me. Most retail packaging seems like a lopsided nightmare to physically stack/store. Maybe an assayed square Geiger bar could work for me.
That bugs me too.
Yeah, it's tough to avoid the queen on coins. But, with each passing year, it becomes less likely she'll be on the next years releases.
Ha, that’s true. Do we get to skip Charles?
@@2is1gold she might outlive him
Thanks for sharing 😎🏝🏖
Yeah, thanks for watching!
you have plenty of liquid gold 1 oz coins now. Why not go with something a little bigger like the 50gram pamp bars for example cheaper than the standard 1 oz bar. Bring your cost down quickly or you can go wth RCM 1 oz bars all in assays and serialized as well very safe and recognizable.
It's a good thought. I'm considering larger bars.
Cheers!
Totally awesome Coins man!👍....greetings from the Netherlands!!😇

britannia is the way i'd go, think i said that before, but maybe cycling through the options will keep your interest going.
kinda like shuffling cards to see what you get. kinda exciting. :)
Yes sir!
If u where to sell the maple leaf in Canada would u get a higher price?
I’m not sure if shops pay above spot there.
Great video
Thanks, Nick!
There are worse things than coin premiums to spend money on. Cheers!
@@2is1gold No kidding! And I try to abstain from those! Cheers to you too.
You should try the gold Libertads. They look nice, they’re rare, and they will bring a little more at selling time. Oh, did I mention they’re rare?
The problem is getting them at a reasonable price....
Rate is the problem! 😄 I don’t want to have to hunt and overpay!
I have something stopping me on Britannias too. Logically, they should be a top choice, but I always end up grabbing something else.
I decided on the Buffalo. I just traded in all of my Maples, Brittanias, and Kangaroos to make them all Buffalo as well.
How'd you do on the trade?
@@2is1gold I lost a couple grand because it was a 30oz change over. But it was worth it for my OCD
Did you get any gold dragons 2022 as they are selling out?
I’m planning to grab the 2022 1 oz Chinese Myths and Legends dragon as soon as it’s out. I’m passing on the 2022 Australian Dragon proof.
Fractional Buffalos would be wildly popular!
Thanks for the great video. I’m a fan of the Buffalo and looking forward to the day I can say “done”
Thanks, and good luck!
Another Great Video! I am chipping away at my tube of Buffalo's.

How bout dime tube of 20 Francs?
It's not completely off the table, but that would be a different set of pros and cons.

Sounds similar to what I’m up to.
@@2is1gold yeah, like you I want to own what is easy to sell. Nothing I gotta find a special buyer for.
I don’t get how apmex is getting away with charging $270 for a tenth oz-
Wow, that's a hell of a deal!
I just picked up a 2012 1/10 gold eagle for $220 and thought that was decent. $190… that’s awesome.
Unreal deal 1/10th oz eagles online are close to $250 right now
I want your LCS!
Yeah, go with Britannias as a base and then a fun series coin now and then. That’s pretty close to what I do. Cheers!
I feel like an orange monster box would stand out in a SHTF situation! 😂
2021 Britannia is the great looking coin with best security on the market , my number 1 choice
This is definitely true.
The Maples are definitely pretty but I have a serious crush on the Britannias!
Yeah, they’re both great!
How about a five 9's RCM coin, like the call of the wild series? The elk, the bobcat, wolf, bear, etc are all beautiful coins. And the swagger of a 99.999% fine gold coin is tough to deny.
Consecutive mentions of the Call of the Wild coins!
I bought a bar a couple years ago around 1450 and sold it last year, getting back in the game and getting my first coin tomorrow!
P.S anyone have any strong opinions on Austrian philharmonics? Love my silver one
The Philharmonics are very nice!
Cheers!

I can't tell if it's just the plastic case it came in, but it looks like there's a tiny bubble and maybe a few scratches.
One of these days I need to buy a 50 gold pesos 1.205 troy ounces. They go for about $2,400 to $3000 depending on year and condition.
I need one too!
i dislike AGE color tone… are buffalo harder to unload?
There are investors who prefer Eagles, but Buffalos are very easy to sell.
I have cash savings as my first line of defense.
@@2is1gold cool thanks
@@2is1gold "I have cash savings as my first line of defense." Smart man. In a world where those who hold some cash get lambasted, I like what Rick Rule says: "I look at the depreciation of the purchasing power of my savings as being an "options premium" to have the liquidity to take advantage of illiquid times."
I have a personal question do you think gold will ever come back down to 12 to 1300 because I bought a lot around that price and now it's just tough given close to 1800. Only thought I have given that much what if it goes back down?
Personally, I think $1,600 is the new floor.
So much fiat money has been printed since $1200/1300. Hard to imagine gold falling back that far, even temporarily when the stock market crashes, which it surely must do before too long.
