Great video Chris. You really captured the feel of the Edmonton Roger's Centre. It's very impressive. The video is also amazingly steady. Awesome all around.
Great video. I haven't been there - yet. Looks quite a bit bigger then the old coliseum. Longest escalator in North America I think I heard? Cool. Kids must love it!
Cool, i was just searching on youtube to see videos of the new arena, completely unrelated to road videos and this one popped up, and I was like, oh wow CV7 did a video this. I never got to see this video of yours. Don't know how I missed it. Reminds me of when MTS Centre opened downtown. I just don't like "Corporate" names for buildings. I'm in favour of naming places after actual people, i.e., like Joe Louis Arena, etc. I'd prefer if it was named after Gretzky or something.
I thought they were going to show all what was in Rogers place instead of the escalators and all the hallways and the arena.. did not show any of the shops .. or restaurants ... so what all is in there .... where is the art gallery ... and shops ....
What the heck were they thinking having to climb those stairs or go up those elevators! The stairs alone look like a Major accident waiting to happen! Dumb.
You won't be able to enter the areas where they serve food without a ticket for an event. You can go to the grand villa casino which is attached to it though.

I can't wait to see my first Canucks game that. Congrats Edmonton! Great job on a downtown, state if the art arena.

Yes me too. I would rather it be named after someone in Edmonton who did something significant
I feel like its only a matter of time before someone "trips" off that escalator and they have to put up screens/glass walls
I agree, that escalator scared the crap outta me.
take the elevator
Or someone throws a Flames fan off
The rail on the escalator is a standard height rail. You have to purposely try to fall off it
@@ryans413 well people at the games, young men typically, horsing around and someone goes over ... but hey it hasn't happened yet.
wow!!! our arena looks like a antique compared to here and it was only built in 1997 hsbc arena buffalo ny
it's excellent
Масштабы впечатляют. Очень красиво.
That guy at 5:60 taking a photo with the phone held the wrong way.... IN (455000)2017?!?!
Well it'll be cool when done
Nice !! :D
Only a matter of time before that escalator leads to a lawsuit.
Canadian teams arenas should hold atleast 20,000 Montreal is the only thinkers because theres holds 21,000 so Calgary think.
Hockey games Rodgers holds 16k almost 17k anything that’s not hockey can hold 20k because they can put seating on the rink floor
Very cool! Go Oilers!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to go to all levels. Most of the restaurants and shops weren't open yet anyway.
OK thank you
This was just an open house to the city so fans could walk around. The title little misleading
ya not showing much at all
What the heck were they thinking having to climb those stairs or go up those elevators! The stairs alone look like a Major accident waiting to happen! Dumb.
Can anybody visit this place just to chill out and eat food or it's just for the people who are watching concerts and games?
Now the main lobby is open all the time just the rink area you will need a ticket

Is it just me...or do I hear munchkins hiding all over the place?
Just become the 51st state already. It’s not even a real country anyway. 🇨🇦
