Claire Sweeney was the original Strictly ringer. She walked so Ashley Roberts, Layton Williams, and Tasha Ghouri could run. The public was rotten for voting her out in Week 5 when she was easily the best dancer that year. Even with the low standard of dancing in Series 1 Claire was absolutely a great dancer for that time. I feel if she performed that Samba nowadays in 2024 she’d still get very decent scores.
At some point last summer my Grandma and I decided to watch the first ever episode of Strictly as it had been put up on BBC iPlayer then. It was so surreal watching where it all began - seeing Bruno and Craig sitting in the opposite seats was probably the least weird thing about it!
Well done Mr Strictly for all your hard work for making these entertaining videos for us all before 2025! even though you hadn’t even seen the earlier series! I have loved watching them and seeing your opinion! Happy new year!

You could Do what you did with all the winners but do it with series to find the viewers favourite series or you could do it with professionals and past professionals
