Join me for four unforgettable days of kayak spearfishing in the stunning Atlantic waters of the Algarve, in Portugal! These days were full of adventure as I explored new areas and mapped out breathtaking reefs, diving down to depths of up to 13 meters. The underwater world was absolutely mesmerizing, with vibrant marine life and some impressive catches along the way.
Visibility conditions ranged from crystal clear to challenging, offering both opportunities and tests of skill. But the combination of freediving, kayaking, and spearfishing made every moment worthwhile, delivering excitement, fantastic training, and memories to last a lifetime.

Have you dealt with the question of whether you need to register your kayak (get a boat number, etc.) to go spearfishing? And how far can you go from the shore?
@@dimaguly8480 thank you very much! Still working on the process, but with my understanding of the Portuguese marime law, the kayak only needs to be registered if you go further than 300m from the shore. The registration, I think is for type 4, and then it can move up to 1km from the shore if it has no motor. I need yet to understand if with motor (eg an electric one) it can go further, but I will try to make a vid when I finish the process to share my experience about this :) hope this helped you! It is a super rewarding experience, to dive with the kayak and the sonar makes a huge difference
