Great job. Thank you for trying the new product. I hope this help, i would sand between every 3 to 4 layers just over the decal or if you get little bumps like dust or something. After the 1st sand you can go in a little more ruff that gives it a level sand but i would still do just the decal area. You can also give it a little more product than with brite tone. You actually want to do this so you dont get streaks and with it drying faster the little more product help it smooth out when turning.

CrystaLac was a life saver for me. I love the product and it came at a time where I thought I had to give up the craft of doing tumblers. Did you do a light sand after 4 coats? That helps when using vinyl or glitter. Thank you for being awesome and showing others this product. Your videos are always fun to watch.

@@paxtonprojects coming from epoxy it is a whole different way of doing it. When I became allergic to epoxy and doctors said no more I was heartbroken. Well I'm now able to do it again and I couldn't be more happy.

I create cups as a way to combat my depression. The prices of the epoxy alternatives are a little much.

I’m sorry you weren’t happy using GF. However, I think if you would have level sanded the whole cup after 3-4 coats, then level sanded only around the decal after 3-4 coats, you would have gotten better results. Also, once it is all smooth, you only need 3-4 final coats of GF for protection. Also, sometimes things are a trade-off, i.e. time(GF) vs toxicity (epoxy). 🥰
