@@duaneayers6117 I would really love to visit that place. Do they have tours, overnight tours? We went to a haunted house at Mansfield Reformatory recently, and I thought about how much scarier it would be without the fake scares. Haunted houses don't do it for me anymore, but hey, the grandbabies loved it. I have heard that Mansfied Reformatory is haunted. It does have some really creepy looking, very small cells, and the people who set up the haunted house really didn't use the cells for any jump scares. Lol maybe they had some real ones of their own, and don't want to climb in those things. I don't blame them.

I've read that there is an American Indigenous people that believe that Crows escort your soul to Heaven. Or your spirit. Whichever you prefer, so you are shown the way. They are such intelligent birds. They do have facial recognition and pass that info down to their offspring, and their families. I do know that pet crows are usua!ly fed dog food because of their nutrition needs

@@marysander36 I have rescued MANY animals over the years, wild and domestic. Many ferrets, cats, parrots, dogs, etc. And I feed raccoons who lost their mom a couple years ago and live in the upstairs of our unused detached garage. Nature's Nursery was full that year so I feed them now. They usually get leftover everything with dog or cat food as well. Their nutritional needs are similar to ours so it's easy. I noticed a possum this year who eats WITH the racoons. I also have 4 bird feeders and have many squirrels who feed here! I'm glad black oil sunflower seeds and suet are fairly inexpensive at Menards! Lol

Nope, ravens are incredibly intelligent, it has heard owners call they're dog's over and over again, all of those owners, imagine how many people walk they're dogs in that spot. Now each and every time the dogs were rewarded with love, and treats if they're owners are anything like me. Raven wants a treat, incredibly right! I have lived in the pacific northwest all of my life, by the bay, absolutely beautiful, until you want to go out and play some days, it's like the movie the birds, while they won't literally attack you, they will shit on you, all Washingtonians have learned this trick, flock of birds above your head, put your hands up, then bring them down in a macabre exaggeration, the birds think your throwing food and all land to eat, now you have enough time to get to your car safely. We also had a Rottweiler that killed a crow, they stalked us until we moved, just sat there, dozens of them on a electric wire squawking at us for months. Never underestimate the bird.

@@christinepettett9138 thanks for that. But the other person could still be right. It could be a pet that escaped. Or, it could be a raven that sticks around that area, and goes to peoples homes for attention. Regardless. You are not the only one who is correct here. Many scenarios could be at play here. Regardless, it is still a neat thing. So embrace it rather than trying to prove someone else wrong about something you both could be right about.

That video of the raven talking was amazing! And it doesn't surprise me that he was able to speak. Ravens are absolutely brilliant birds. Kept as pets, they can be taught to speak and can sound almost better than parrots can. However, it's rare to see this because in most places, like in all 50 states in the US, it is illegal to keep ravens and crows as pets. Wild crows and ravens aren't around humans enough to be specifically trained to speak. But if someone feeds wild crows and ravens, these birds will not only learn as individuals to trust this specific human, they will communicate with their clan about this safe human and other members of their clan will come. And they will leave gifts to these humans in return for caring for them.
Long story but: I'm from the Pacific NW, where woods are all around, but are quickly diminishing due to city expansion. These wild animals have nowhere to go and are becoming more reliant on humans for food sources. So when I moved into an apartment complex in a city that had woods nearby, I started caring for woodland critters. Squirrels and crows were my most common visitors. Once I started caring for the crows, every day I would wake up to shiny pieces of trash outside my door that they'd left there for me. Bottle caps, soda tabs, silver or gold candy wrappers, paper clips, and pieces of tinfoil were very common. Funny how what humans would see as trash, crows would see as a gift. They also learned my voice, and when I would stand out there and call for the squirrels by name and the squirrels would come, the crows would also come. The crows had learned that I was a safe person by watching how the squirrels behaved around me. The squirrels were my first visitors, and the crows in the trees observed that I was safe for squirrels, therefore would be safe for them. I remember when the first crow approached my porch, cautiously, after watching me feed the squirrels for a couple weeks. Then more crows came. Eventually a Stellar's Jay came. A male Stellar's Jay, which the sighting of this type of bird is incredibly rare, was desperate for food for his babies, and he came to my porch after seeing that I was caring for crows, and he trusted me to feed his young. He landed on my balcony railing and cawed until I came to the door. When I carefully opened the door, he didn't fly away. Instead he looked at me, and then looked at the empty food bowl I put out for the squirrels, and then he looked back at me, as if using body language to tell me he wanted some food, too. I slowly put a handful of sunflower seeds in the squirrel bowl. He waited until I closed the door and then he hopped to the bowl, gathered all the seeds in his beak, and flew off to a nearby tree, where four little Stellar's Jay heads poked up from a nest. After he fed them, he came back to my balcony and cawed for more. He'd learned this by observing. Interestingly enough, I saw the crows that visited my porch all gathered in a huge pine tree and watched this take place as well. I half-expected them to fight the Jay for food, but they didn't. They let him be. Jays are cousins to the raven, so it doesn't surprise me that this Jay learned by observation that I was safe. I'd never encountered him before that moment.
Neighbors looked at me like I was a fairytale witch when they saw all these crows and squirrels gather daily on my 2nd floor apartment balcony for feeding time lol. But eventually these neighbors were so fascinated that they also started leaving food out for the wildlife on their porches, and they started taking care while driving through the parking lot to ensure they wouldn't run any of the critters over.
We've had to move away since (military family), but I will never forget the experience of caring for these intelligent animals. It was an incredible privilege to be the chosen friend of a crow.

Anyone else notice in the 'What is That?' clip just about halfway through the video, the strange small black apparition moving about in a ghostly fashion toward the bottom of the screen on the right? It appears to have something either reflecting or emanating a speck of light. At one point as it drifts to the right it looks a bit like 2 glowing eyes in the bushes. The figure seems to be unfolding a blanket or something and setting it down on the ground as if about to sit on it and enjoy a nice little paranormal picnic. Furthermore, it's really hard to tell what is directly behind the mysterious figure and cow (who seems to be able to see them cuz it looks right at them when they unfurl the blanket or whatever it is, then crouch down to spread it on the ground). It looks like some kind of structure like a shack or something. You can see the bottom left corner of it but then you follow the vertical line of the apparent edge of the thing and you can see through it...? I'm scratching my head 😅 Definitely interested to see if anyone else noticed the weird little black ghostie.

I lived very close to the Summit Mall in Summit County. I remember when they built that mall. It was a big to do for that time. I believe it was one of the first malls to be built in the US. The 1975 of its opening is wrong. It was built Oct 28, 1965. That whole area was farming. There was a Dairy Whip just before the mall that my parents always took me to. That was a big deal for me as a child. Then over time it & everything else disappeared only to be replaced with crammed together stores & strip stores. Anyway, I could go on & on. But one big mistake is you saying it's in downtown Akron. No, it's not. It's in a suburb of Akron known as Montrose on Rt 18. My mom & I always went to the mall, then over time, I took my kids. Seeing this on your video brought back bittersweet memories. Sad because of the farms disappearing only for the developers to destroy the land with congested (& it's bad) roads & built up stores, as I mentioned above, but sweet that you put it in your video that brought back the good memories. Thank you 🥰 😊

On the video of the supposed "haunted horse" picture -- where there is a supposed "rider" in the shadow -- yet obviously no one on the horse -- from my perspective seeing as the sun is casting a very long shadow -- it appears as if it is a photographer utilizing a tri-pod to take the picture -- if you look closely -- because it is such a long shadow -- you can see where the man's legs actually blend into the shadow of the body of the horse making it appear as if he were riding it -- instead of his shadow just joining the horse's on the ground -- if you really look -- you can see what would be considered "equipment'" next to the man's feet -- on the right hand side of the photograph. Conclusion: Long shadow of a man -- camera on a tripod -- box of equipment on the ground -- all behind and above long shadow of a horse -- with actual horse in frame -- and photographer and equipment out of frame. Do you see it -- or am I just seeing things? LOL! Thanks for reading! Peace! 🤔😜
