Fíjate que normalmente lo hacen después de la parte de Randy, es decir, cuando tienen un contexto un poco más amplio del tema de la canción, y si bien no entiende, por lo menos ella busco una traducción para un contexto todavía más amplio.

The band is from Mexico City, has great music, a lot of very irreverent lyrics,.
The song was written by Randy, the gringo of the band. He wrote it after a trip to the US, they send his wife to a different line than him and didn’t want to let her get in the country, meanwhile they were giving Randy a hard time and they were trying to rip his daughters diaper to check for drugs (he claims it was because his daughter has a Hispanic last name and it’s brown skin and the baby was with a white dude). He was so pissed about this situation and wrote that song after that incident.

Very good analyzation . The band does touch many political topics, including Mexicos's corrupt government. But also, they have a lot of satirical comedic lyrics, hateful at times, but Mexican's aren't as politically correct as in the US.
The way you talk and analyzed the lyrics impressed me a lot, you are very eloquent, informed and you said the exact and correct words. You definitively understood the song very good

Hi, i´m a sociologist, not that it matters but it helps with the understanding of the song's message, the guy in the truck starts complaining about the stereotypes that the gringos impose on his person just because of his etnic origin, he complains also about the criminal activities that they associate with him just because of his appeareance like the drug dealing and he makes an argument that in few words says that "even if that were true, you (the gringos) are the buyers and consumers", then he references the disregard for human live from the U.S. government fabricating wars in foreign countries just to make profit out of it and all the money they get from the debts that the U.S. make the mexican government pay by feeding the corruption in the country and within the mexican government. Then comes the chorus that is no more than the two sides cursing each other using the "beaner" and the "gringo" concepts, "beaner" because generally speaking the beans is one of the most consume foods by the latinoamerican community (latinoamerican it's every person born in the american continent that comes from an etnic group that speakes a language deravitave from the latin), "gringo" is a word originated from the greek, the original word was grigo and the original meaning was a reference to someone greek, but beacuse of the context the meaning change slowly, let me explain, the romans and their decendants always struggle with the greek language beacuse of the sounds and the writing, so it become very common to say that something was written in greek or someone was a greek when it was hard to understand the language it was written or the person's spoke language, so they said "this is grigo", "that's grigo" also the word have a somewhat social diminishful connotation because it was use in the same way the old greeks used the word "barbaros" that means barbarians, the spanish carry the word with them and in México change the word and some of the concept context, the word change to "gringo" and now still has that "barbarians" connotation and it's use to reference every individual that speakes an anglo-saxon derivative language that acts alienated from the latinoamerican cultures. Then comes a rap lyric that makes references about the hard life of the U.S. inmmigrants that cross the border illegally crossing thru the river, that's why the gringos call them "wetbacks", also talks about how they are always harass in U.S. soil and at the end complains about the gringos claiming U.S. soil as their property and acting like tyrants talking about rights to the land saying "get out of my land", "go back to mexico, china, middle east, etc..." making an argument that talks about how in the past the U.S. government manipulate things and took the president Santa Ana hostage and forced the México government to sell half the country to the U.S. for a ridicule low cost and if the argument of "I'm american, I born here, I worked this lands, it's my right to claim this land" was used by the mexicans it turns out that mexicans have more rights to that land than the gringos, but mexicans don't use that argument because to them makes no sense, but they are tired of being harass and tired of listen those stupid arguments, so that's why the latinoamericans sometimes turn hostile to the gringos. Also the accent that they use to speak in spanish it's a mock of how the gringos speak spanish.

beaner was a word to diss immigrants (Mexicans) or "wetbacks" crossing the border to the US..."gringo" is no greek word, if you dig into the history of the so called "mexican-american wars" trough some time periods, you'll find that the word comes from "green go", it was a "word" screamed at US soldiers by Mexican soldiers due to the green color of their uniform ,so they shouted in the only English they were able to speak trying to insult and reject the US soldiers by screaming (while shooting at) "green (because of the uniform) go (go away , get out of here)....the result? "gringo" (mexicanized) which now applies to all those who live in the states (including immigrants hahahahaha)...something similar has happened with the word "firulais", which is used to refer to a street dog or any dog, this come from markets where pets were sold, and in the advertising (this was at the border so advertising was bilingual) they had written "free of lice", so , that became a "mexicanized" term to name a dog (any dog); if you don't know the name you just say "firulais" hahahahaha

A very good example is the story about the Niños Heroes, they were dead students there but they weren't kids, that was a missconception because of the word "Infant" refering to the "Infantry" and the people named to be the Niños Heroes never existed, Diaz just pulled up some names and made up the story about it. The same happens with a lot of mexican national heroes and even religous figures like the Virgen of Guadalupe. That happens with every country, all of them have national myths, the "green go" story is a national myth, one of the most famous.

I remember back in the mid-to-late 90's when these guys were just starting to gain popularity and I read an article about them in some music magazine, probably Circus or Hit Parader, and the author was raving about them after seeing them in some crappy festival in Baja California or something like that, saying that he went expecting every band to suck because it was Mexico (yep, kind of racist) but that even if he didn't understand half of what Molotov sang, they were awesome and like a mix of RATM and the Beastie Boys, and that it was amazing that they all played different instruments and sang, and switched between songs, and that the band usually had two bassists instead of two guitarists playing at the same time. It was a hilarious article, but I always thought it was kind of cool that they impressed that asshole journalist so much.

Molotov is a Mexican rock band that usually speaks about injustice. Although it has other songs, that are not about that. But you can listen to “Dame el poder” talks about corruption in Mexico. This song is about the racism and xenophobia in USA against Mexican people. The term “gringo” is used to ANY person that speaks English and isn’t Mexican. The real meaning of the word is “stranger from foreign land”, but now is used more to talk about any person from Canada or USA. It doesn’t matter if they are white, black, woman or man. Although for women is used the feminine word which is “gringa”.

Si al baterista lo trataron mal los oficiales de migración, pues no es necesario hacer una canción, es puro morbo; en general, los trámites burocráticos en dependencias estadounidenses son muy ágiles y te tratan con mucho respeto, mucho mejor organizados y amables que los trámites burocráticos aquí en México; sin embargo, en todo el mundo hay gente c*lera, y quizá uno de éstos le tocó al baterista, pero ya hasta escribir una canción, es muy exagerado, sólo quiere vender morbo esta banda amarillista. A mí me han asaltado, y no por eso digo que todos los mexicanos son unos l*cras. Sería más representativa una canción de los cientos de mexicanos que les autorizan la visa de turista, y mejor se quedan en EUA como indocumentados, eso sí es un engaño, y nos crea mala fama a todos los mexicanos que hacemos las cosas bien, siguiendo reglas y acatando los lineamientos. Y luego todavía los mexicanos nos admiramos: ¿porqué le piden tantas cosas a los mexicanos para visitar EUA?, porque hay muchos mexicanos que mienten y se quedan a vivir en EUA sin permiso. No ocurre eso de que: los oficiales de migración son los irrespetuosos y los mexicanos son los que reciben todos los agravios, no es así. Hay de todo, hay que hablar con objetividad: también hay mexicanos que no respetan las reglas, como también, en general, la gente de EUA es amigable y trabajadora, como aquí en México.

Molotov se cuelga de la fama de personas famosas: habla de Echeverría, de Lopez Portillo, de Miguel de la Madrid, de Zedillo, de Fox, de Felipe Calderón, de Peña Nieto, de AMLO, del PRI, de Televisa, de artistas de televisión, de actrices, de otras bandas de Música (escuchen la canción de Lagunas Mentales), Molotov no aporta nada nuevo, es la misma basura reciclada de siempre. Molotov se parece al cantante Martín Ricca, que hizo una canción donde habla de Britney Spears, no, Molotov está peor, porque ellos han hecho muchísimas canciones donde le tiran m*erda a gente famosa: políticos, empresarios, artistas, otros músicos. Molotov tiene de revolucionario lo que yo tengo de militar espartano: NADA. A Molotov sólo le interesa crear morbo, ser noticia y lucrar con esto. Y aunque se enojen y me insulten esta es la verdad: Esta canción nueva (no olvidamos) está muy aburrida, suena así: tata tata tata tata... y se repite. Tienen más emociones los mensajes en altavoz de un centro comercial. He escuchado decenas de mejores canciones y rimas con los raperos que se juntan en parques públicos. Y para terminar, se plagiaron el coro de la cumbia: Que levante la mano, de los Ángeles de Charly. Hasta copiones salieron.
Well this song is okay but unfortunately it's just okay! speaking at someone who is pretty well versed in the Mexican punk scene.there are a number of songs that are hitting this topic that do exist already Molotov is just basically a band that is not my thing but I don't think, they're really terrible or anything. Just saying that this isn't the most revolutionary song known to man
Except Molotov ain't punk, they're hard rock/hip hop, and Molotov's music shines with their use of double bass and style that's from the Beastie Boys school, their style is more playful, acidic in it's humor, something that shined at a time where the country was immersed in a deep recession and the power institutions were shaking. Besides the song ain't looking to be revolutionary, it was the drummer, Randy, venting his frustration of his experience going through the frontier with his family, as he is American but his wife and at the time, baby child, were mexicans, he went without a hoot, but his family was deep searched.

The guy who was rapping is actually american and he wrote the song. he came to México with his family and he got married with a mexican girl then he went to US with his wife and daughter but a migration official treated his wife and daughter as illegals because of their color

Well yes but actually no. The song was inspired when the drummer, Randy, an American who lived in México since his teens was visiting his family in USA with his wife and baby daughter, he went through the border without a problem, but his wife and child were detained and searched intensively, treated as criminals. The song touches a bit on the oil wars, as it came out when the Iraq invasion was fresh, and drugs, as the war on drugs was intensifying, but it's more about the border patrol's relationship with the illegals, and the relationship between the two countries, as we mexicans are usually seen as criminals no matter what, when the americans ain't free of sin either.
You should check out more Molotov songs, the MTV Unplugged concert is specially a gem, Frijolero, Here we Kum, Hit Me and specially, our second anthem, Gimmie Tha Power, really shine best there.
There's also other bands I recommend, El Gran Silencio combines cumbia music with rock, Chuntaro Style, Cumbia Power Dormir Soñando and La Cumbia Lunera are songs I highly recommend. There's also Cafe Tacvba, more mellow in their style of rock, but never the less an important band for my country, I specially recommend Las Flores in their MTV Unplugged concert, as there they also combine jarocha style music, a rhythm proper of the Veracruz region of México.
Finally, one of the most legendary bands, this one a Ska band, La Maldita Vecindad y los Hijos del Quinto Patio, their songs, Pachuco, Don Palabras, Solin, Kumbala and Quinto Patio Ska are songs I urge you to check.
