I had the opportunity to see it in theaters with my friends from Into the Woods, but I had a lot of stuff to do. At the time, I didn't know that it was an Alan Menken musical. But when I did, I absolutely wanted to see it, but it had left theaters, so I had to wait for the DVD to come out. I may have a lot of Redbox fees to pay now.
