Angelina's best performances are accompanied by light accoustic guitar that don't overpower her voice. Absolutely brilliant performance!
I'd like to add that it doesn't matter how powerful the music, she matches and outshines the music all the time.
I think overpowering her voice is impossible. Besides the beauty of her voice, she also has a volume and fullness that carries through in a way that should be completely impossible for a child.

Angelina Jordan is simply amazing, she is an author, singer, composer, seems there is nothing this young lady can not accomplish, She is talented from God, she has covered songs from the 1940's to current and then each song she sings becomes her song as though she wrote and composed it, and even wrote the arrangement. Her voice covers most all the ranges and she has complete control of her voice. She plays 4 instruments and when she sings she draws us the listeners into Her world, and I am feel blessed to be a part of this because of hearing her sing!! One of a kind and challenges the masters!!!

When you hear an incredible voice like this, you wonder what talent may exist in the world that no one will ever see because they were born somewhere without media access. This is a once in a lifetime voice.
With talent like this they find there way. There just are not many children like this. In this century only three Daneliya Tuleshova Angelina Jordon and Erza Muqolli. Daneliya being from Almaty Kazakhstan finding her way to American China and Russian stages has been a huge leap but you can't hold talent like this back.

She has gotten me to love jazz. It wasn't on top of my list till now. She is what a Waldorf School environment helps bring out. Congratulations Oslo Waldorf School. Encourage and nurture the gifts and talent most kids have. My dad was one of the original Waldorf students in the early 1920s. He was a very creative individual and great father.

I have followed Angelina since 2016. This young girl is fabulous. She has a natural talent and voice exactly for Jazz. The word Prodigy is very appropriate when discussing her abilities. She is truly unbelievable.

I love music and singing and enjoy listening to Amazing Voices like Angelina's. I finding it even more Amazing that I only hearing her now. However, I am overjoyed that I am hearing her and hoping to hear a lot more of her. I have been listening to anything with her singing. Everyone is talking about this child prodigy from Norway whom I discovered when she was merely 7 years old at a talent scout show in Norway singing Billie Holiday’s Gloomy Sunday. She literally blew my mind for I’ve never heard n seen anything like that ! - that jazz diva sound belting out from a child. I think she is a reincarnation of Billie Holiday and Amy Winehouse all in one.

A cool fact about this song is that, yes, Frank Sinatra's version is probably the seminal one. It was arranged for him and Count Basie by Quincy Jones. When Jones turned 85 in 2018 there was a big star-studded birthday bash at the O2 in London. He brought Angelina from Norway to perform there. What did he ask her to perform? Fly Mr to the Moon.
He also said at that event that the last young artist he saw with as much superstar potential as her was a kid named Michael Jackson.

She’s half Persian, her mother is from Iran, and the little girl she gave her shoes to was Persian and it all happened when Angelina visited Iran when she was 7 years old. She’s a prodigy in all aspects.

Prior to the song Angelina holds a cup to the camera. On the cup is a picture of Screaming Jay Hawkins the man who owned, sang, this song in 1956. His version is on UA-cam. In presenting the cup Angelina was paying tribute and honored Jay Hawkins. Her version, in many ways. is like Jay Hawkins version. She does like the old jazz artists. Check out the 1956 version.
