5 Bar challenge Del Mar Natl

This is me and Tao Tao doing the 5 challenge at the Del mar National. We cleared 6'3'' but had the 6'6'' jump down. But it was so awesome. Heading to the last jump in those last two rounds was so scary. I've never done a class like this before and I had an absolute blast. I'm so proud of Taoie too. He's proving himself such a powerful jumper.

Thank you! I was really surprise at how relaxed he was about the whole thing. The first 3 rounds were pretty much ok. The last two were so scary. I don't think I breathed once and I just wanted to close my eyes. He's only 9 and in the show ring (only!) he is way beyond his years :-)

This class was sooo much fun. the first two rounds aren't that bad because it's 1.50m and 1.60m which i've done before. Once it got to 1.70+ it was terrifying. and it's weird because since the first 3 jumps aren't huge you are pretty comfortable and then the last one comes up and your heart just stops. I loved it though and I can just tell Taoie loves to jump.
