  • Unfortunately, I only made it to level 19 since I didn't have much free time to play during the event. I still had fun because it was refreshing seeing more variety of decks besides Tearlaments.
    0:05 VS Ishizu Tearlaments
    3:06 VS HEROS
    4:54 VS Blackwing
    7:29 Floowandereeze VS Branded Despia
    10:44 VS Ishizu Tearlaments
    12:28 VS Numeron
    14:10 VS HEROS
    17:12 DRYTRON DECK PROFILE
    *Deck profile might not reflect what's actually in the duels as I often switch out cards. It is a deck profile that I used in my last duel.

      You notice at the earlier stages most people aren't playing the strongest meta decks and since there's no side decking, you have to adjust your deck. There are things you can get away with at the earlier stages but consistency matters more at the later stages. Unless people want to see like multiple deck profiles with 1 change between each one, it's rather redundant.
      The changes were:
      -Remove Vanity's Ruler. A good searchable floodgate but has no protection and is a brick. Amorphactor Pain has higher stats, skips a phase so most likely you're already guaranteed to survive another turn (if they get rid of Vanity's Ruler they can OTK the same turn), negates most extra deck monsters, and is a ritual so can be used as a combo piece for Drytron effects. They both are a form of floodgate, but Amorphactor Pain does more so I might as well go for a little more consistency.
      -Add Cyber Angel Idaten. Another way to make Beatrice without using Benten, search for 2nd Meteonis without using Meteonis' GY effect due to Ishizu shufflers, and fuel Natasha's stealing monster effect. Some Drytron players don't like Idaten and would rather play 1 Benten and 1 Natasha and I was trying that out earlier.

      @@densai89 I really appreciate the time you took to explain everything. If I sounded like a jerk I’d like to take this moment and apologize for my typing. I been looking around for variants of nekroz to run since I had fond memories of playing it in the tcg when they first came out. (What an expensive deck!) your deck list was great but I didn’t understand what was different from the deck list and the duel montages. Thank you again for the explaining. Subbed and liked!

      @@tonymon7977 Thanks for the sub! It’s all cool. I just took it as more of a constructive criticism. Takes a lot for me to get upset. Nekroz is a cool deck. I got back into collecting cards around 2016 so Nekroz was already pretty butchered from the ban list. Never experienced how busted they were. Anyway, since rituals are my favorite summoning mechanic, I bought a 1st Ed. The Secret Forces sealed booster box and a PSA 10 secret rare 1st Ed. Nekroz of Brionac. I bought the sealed box for like $99 and Brionic for $40. I haven’t posted anything on Instagram for a while but feel free to check it out. I definitely should start posting again on there.

      @@densai89 that brio is beautiful!! That blue on blue always looked amazing! I’ve been trying dogmatika nekroz and I’m looking to try drytron nekroz. Would you recommend pure drytron or should I try that nekroz variant?

    • @densai89
      @densai89  Рік тому +1

      @@tonymon7977 Thank you. I haven't touched Nekroz so I can't give any recommendations on it. I see a few Drytron Nekroz replays so I'm sure they can work out. I know Impcantations are a poplar engine to use with them. Thing is, "pure" Drytron sucks so they've always been mixed together with other cards and mainly used as an engine to achieve other goals.

    Solo para aclarar el Phoenix Enforcer si vuelve aunque el Vanity esté en el campo ya que si efecto dice RETORNA que no es considerado una invocación especial.
    Lo mismo pasa con el xyz time thief, el synchro Omega, etc

    New subscriber here😎 I've always wanted to play Drytrons thanks for sharing your knowledge about this archetype! I'm also subscribed to Loganjya. Just a question, I thought Natasha's life points gain effect is only once per turn so why do you gain life points each time you steal an opponent's monster?

    • @densai89
      @densai89  Рік тому +2

      Thanks! I watch every Loganjya video that features Drytrons too! He feature a duelist named Jordi Wang and he said in one of his match when his opponent asked, “[Natasha] isn’t once per turn?” Jordi responded, “no Cyber Angel is once per turn.” 🤣 I gain life points every time I summon her in the same turn. Her effect is a soft once per turn so once she leaves the field and comes back it’s treated as a different card and can activate the effect again.
