Kage, I think you should make another fortress door on the other side of the base and have it surrounded with 2 high walls with a ceiling on top to make it look like you have a fortress and there is a city inside it as an end game goal. Some more ideas: 1. Make a connected bathroom with the bedroom and one wash area in the bar grill so that people can wash their hands and use the toilet if they need too. 2. Add a cabinet in front of the bed by removing the middle photo, and add a TV there. 3. I think instead of a painting room, it will be better to have a saw room, which will house 3 saws and a bunch of storage for planks. 4. Add Fire Pots inside the base for sick-night view of complete city of yours.
Idea 💡 ... what about a cart for transporting melons, watermelons and pumpkins? 😀 I love what the dev is doing adding all these elements to the game (the windows and corner rail opening)! I can't play because I don't own a PC or laptop (which sucks). But I love this game! If I could play, I'd appreciate these small things so much! It allows the player to get creative and play the game more! 😊
A HUGE part of this game now is money making to get the awesome perks from the trader... It would be really cool to have different "career options" in the game, especially for content creation, and to give use to items that are already in the game, but either ignored or discarded because they have limited use... Like you could pick a career at the beginning and the items from that would sell for a higher price to the trader. Like a chef could sell end game food for like $5 a pop, but cement would be worthless like $.02. If he was able to code the furniture into droppable items (like the chicken when you tranquilize it) A carpenter could sell the end tables and beds and stuff, but food and cement would be worthless etc etc. You could do a bunch of different stuff like that like with the items that are already in the game - "miners" get more for ores, but extractors cost more to build -"technicians" get more for electrical parts, wires, mechanical parts, and can craft them, but requirements are high -"hunter" gets more for skin and bones and dried meat -"chef" gets more for tallow, animal fat, end game food like onion soup and bacon potatoe pie (which nobody ever uses, which would be awesome to see more people use some of the recipes that get completely skipped for rations) -"farmer" gets more for eggs, milk, veggie mix, canned fruits and veggies -"carpenter" gets more for wardrobes, beds, etc (or, if it was easier than coding the furniture into droppable items, he could make some of the cosmetic items locked behind a purchasable "Carpenters bench" or something) It would definitely take a fair amount of work, but it could be coded so that when you select something at the beginning when you spawn in, then the prices are adjusted across that game save. This could lead to some really awesome creative playthroughs and give people more reasons to play longer, different approaches to a playthrough for content creators AND people just playing for fun. Adds longevity to the game, more roleplaying aspects, and switches things up because right now its pretty much }Spawn in, race to get a big backpack, try to get tech, try to get the truck, build as much power and ore miners as possible, grind out cement, make rations, get bored, wait till next release.
The windows 🪟 could have two things, either have it to the window is a half window and the bottom or top half slides open and then you don’t have to have a knowledge of which way they open out (because they don’t open out: this would be the easiest way to do it) or on the inside have animated some handles which turn from the down locked position to the sides open position and the window is then opened. As the handles are on the inside, you’ll see which way they should be placed. Hopefully the developer will see this comment and hopefully add both types of windows into the game.
Kage you should call the random stragglers of infected that walk by the neighbours since you’re so close to the apartments. Maybe it’s just my sense of humour but I found it funny thinking “neighbours are out again” while hearing them get stuck on the spikes
I know the game isn't meant to be realistic, but instead of buying the technology to learn how to make a lot of this stuff, I think there should be settlements where you have to go buy it. Like, who is trying to survive and would take the time to make a couch? There should be someone that sells furniture. So, you have to drive the truck to settlement X and buy a person's furniture. Same with appliances.
What are you using to get your thumbnails. I always thought they looked amazing. Lights coming next episode? I was thinking how cool it would be to have a decorative deck extending out in front of the glass windows in the river bar and grill.
Hay kage ive always wondered how you come up with you thumbnails besides taking screenshots they look amazing love the content and the artwork! Keep up the great work
He uses AI. I think he uploads a normal image of game and asks whatever tool he is using to generate an artistic-looking image for him; he gets multiple options and he chooses from them.
the wooden frame gets hidden because it glitches into the window opening if I'm not mistaken you can only have two coolers. an could you mention to the developer that some of us would love to have normal looking paintings 😄
i do 30 solar 20 wind 30k power storage and run everything 24/7 + lights everywhere never get below half power storage even during bad weather/blizzards
you're where I am when it comes to game stage. what can the Dev add in the future to make the game longer? i no longer need power, ingots, food, etc. maybe more perks from the trader to get me to make more money?

@Kage848 while ur on a roll getting things added get devs to fix roofs.. u cant connect roofs together to make a full proper roof triangle roof pieces are missing also i have told devs about this but they never responded... getting roofs fixed is more important than anything else they got to do imo
The wood cabinet from the bedroom furniture would look good in the cafe as a sideboard.
Ngl Kage, this bedroom may just be the best room you ever made in this game, it turned out absolutely phenomenal!
I personally like the looting videos. It shows more of the game, and shows the immersion of the game.
Agreed 💯
I like the fact that the furniture is not just cosmetic and can actually be utilize

i love this channel man. the only thing i dislike is when the video ends and we have to wait until the next day for more content!
I like loot videos!
We get to listen to a lot of movie /tv show opinions during them!
Some plants around the place be a nice touch.
I like the diversity of a looting episode now and then.

Love the Christmas tree
I love the new decos!
For the art gallery you should make it super modern with the white brick walls and glass, and lots of lights and a coffee bar
"Aww look at him using the bridge!... dumbass"
Never change, Kage.
Kage, first time I've seen the coolers . Great addition .

😂😂😂
"I'm here by myself." Matt doesn't exist anymore?
26:00 you took Elite Runner?...
I would've taken Iron Stomach 😏
Maybe build a watchtower, so that when a horde comes in, you know which direction they’re coming from.

MAKE A BATHROOM! And use the toilet lol
You should put one of those cabinets on the wall across from your bed and then put a TV on it
What are you using to get your thumbnails. I always thought they looked amazing. Lights coming next episode? I was thinking how cool it would be to have a decorative deck extending out in front of the glass windows in the river bar and grill.
Looks good.

I will watch your looting video's I like your channel
The new windows that open now, can you shoot bow through them now. Or is it just a animated cosmic?
the wooden frame gets hidden because it glitches into the window opening if I'm not mistaken you can only have two coolers. an could you mention to the developer that some of us would love to have normal looking paintings 😄
At this point Kage might as well be a developer.
You should build a gate at the entrance of the traders
i do 30 solar 20 wind 30k power storage and run everything 24/7 + lights everywhere never get below half power storage even during bad weather/blizzards
i agree Kage strew mix should be cooked not prepared.. make it on stove not prep bench... dev would only need to change crafting location.. isnt hard
you're where I am when it comes to game stage. what can the Dev add in the future to make the game longer? i no longer need power, ingots, food, etc. maybe more perks from the trader to get me to make more money?
I typed out a pretty big one above, about career options. What do you think of that idea?
So I guess Matt is not invited to Kagemas?
I enjoy the long episodes....
Kage, bedroom looks great! But why no fireplace?
The windows really need shutters to protect that precious easily broken glass.
Wish the game had more people that could randomly move in. To see more people sitting around in the dining room. For me anyway.
Kage, all my windows irl op inwards, if they open outwards, you are going to have a lot of broken glass on windy days
only time i see pull in windows, were movies or badly designed houses
@Firehedgehog lol, must be a European thing than
As soon as it it's out of EA, i'm on it like a Seagull on your Hot Chips at the Beach.
... It has no effects on the Game...
DaDev: Hold my Coffee.
How are you able to have access to these options/updates? I do not even have the crate shelves, nonetheless these windows. I just have the old windows and my game is up to date.
Do I have to opt in for a test version of the game or something?
Beta yes
@basbouwman5139 okay, thanks!!!
@Kage848 while ur on a roll getting things added get devs to fix roofs.. u cant connect roofs together to make a full proper roof triangle roof pieces are missing also i have told devs about this but they never responded... getting roofs fixed is more important than anything else they got to do imo
Dev doesn't want advanced tech in the game, such as guns, but you can have a trio of laptops?
More project castaway content please!
roofs are only complicated in this game cause of missing building pieces
I think you need a sawmill
That's what I was saying. Make a cool sawmill barn/plank storage area
Where on the map are you located, may I ask?
your alone? well what about Matt? or the girls at the trader?
Was the bedroom furniture storage?!!! Wardrobe work with clothes?! 😒
More new doors would be nice
Tbh I miss the old windows. If they're an option that would be great.
Why don’t you put a couple tv up?? One in bar, bed room, and living room. And a fireplace in beds room with tv above it
Ive told you several times bro throw that timer away… im the same guy that watches looting videos tho,
@kage848 You don't cook in real life?! Seriously? What do you eat for dinner and such?
u need to make an bathroom
so the Dev is only makeing these game updates to suit kage,,,lololololol, a little nartistic
VEGANfected
Need a woman in the game its a meat feast game 😂
