I'm looking for video with the push railcar uncoupled as it pulls away from the pushed train. In Italy, the push locomotive was coupled to the pushed train by means of the famous "Releasable link during the race". It was loosened, when the pushed train reached the "CULMINE" signal, by the fireman, via a metal rope that entered the driver's cab through the window of the access door (always located on the right). Following numerous attempts to release that did not take place and the consequent serious accidents, pushing at the rear with a detachable link while racing was prohibited.
